Snapping

Maybe it was time to get the ball rolling. It was time to set things off, get his revenge to fix things and get some use out of this stupid drive that was haunting him. There was so much he could do with this thing but it felt like it was almost evil.

He could flush everyone down the drain but yet he kept this to himself.

"Fuck it!" He plugged in the thing after an hour of staring at it and wanting to pitch it across his room. His smile grew wide as he scrolled down to a name that he wanted to pick off for the longest while. Renee. Time to plant some suspicion. He knew about Saintclair's state per Aaron and maybe it was the right time to use it to his advantage. He drafted an anonymous fake legal file to send to Saintclair filed with voice notes. The icing on top, implying it came from some like Spencer Matt Venice and making it seem like it all came from one of the members. Maybe things just might fall apart from there and he was right.

It was too perfect.

"This is our last meeting." Saintclair's hand was shaking. His chair was turned away from everyone as he faced the wall. He would rather look at nothing than the people he didn't trust. "It is really our last."

"You can't dictate whether or not this group is over, This is MY Group!" Renee said standing.

"Shut the fuck up!" Everyone froze at the raise of his voice. "You're useless, don't say anything when you're useless. I received an email yesterday night that pretty much said Spencer Matt knows each member and wants to see a representative.

You wanna dictate things, Take responsibility. He didn't just know that, someone told him, it has to be one of you. They said he's gearing up to sue but they threw everything back on us." Renee sat down as the words were sinking in and everyone's eyes were on her. "When you go there, fight for us, please group leader." He was using a mocking term that made her feel small and like a joke. "I am going to try my hardest not to go down and yall should do the same. Mormon had an idea, please share it."

"Here's my opinion, let's vote her off!" Mormon was the only enthusiastic one in the room. Everyone seemed to not know how to react or just be in a middle sad-scared mood. "We need to cut ties with her. We might be disassembling but we need to cut ties starting with her."

"The principal might call her into the office today and contact her parent-" A sob cut through his sentence. They all turned to Renee.

"W-why are you all turning on me? Is this about yesterday?" Saintclair returned to his original position.

"No, we can't have ties to you because of what's going on."

"But we move as a group." She said in tears. She stood up and wiped the stray tears and fixed her hair. "This is my group and the rule is we go down as a group."

"It is, We act as a group." Saintclair corrected. "Not all of us want to go down with you. Who votes to cut ties with Renee say I"

"I!" Mormon's hand flew up first as he looked over at Renee.

"I…" Ebany felt awkward voting against her but Mormon was so she felt obligated.

"I." Aaron didn't have any regrets nor did he even care about her. Silence settled in the room as the few who voted eyed the ones who stayed silent.

"I." Aubrey croaked which made them all surprised and Renee was flabbergasted. Her best friend or claimed bestfriend voting against her? That's when she knew she was done. She took off the group blazer and pin and folded it and rested it neatly on the table. She didn't want to hear if the other two had the same opinion. She should have known where his loyalty lies when he said he could pick between her or Saintclair.

"I resign." She wiped away a few more escaping tears.

"Okay." For some reason that answer made her angry she glared at the back of Saintclair's head that refused to turn to look at her.

"Do you know how much of my dignity I threw away for you? You're a fucking cunt that derserves hell and I hope you go down worst than any of us. I'm glad your relationship failed because you deserve no happiness and you lack empathy. You're a crazy controlling asshole and I hope you rot. I hope all of you rot. I made the biggest mistake bending to all of you trying to gain your friendship. I wasted two years doing this shit." She picked up the first things she could see on the table which were a pencil case and a metal reusable water bottle and hurled it at Saintclair. "FUCK YOU!" Saintclair ignored all screaming coming inside the room after he got hit in the head. His head was bleeding but he didn't care, he just phone security.

Everyone stared at Renee who was being carried down the hallway screaming profanities at everybody and trying to wiggle out of the grip the security had on her. Sainclair laughed at the sight. He was expecting her to snap. "If you have nothing to add, this meeting is over." The members were expecting Aubrey to be upset about what happened to his friend but he seemed to have no reaction. "I'm going to the infirmary and the counselor. See you after lunch." Saintclair walked down the hallway assisted by none other than Mormon and Aaron who originally wanted to do with Mormon today and any other day but he knew he wouldn't have peace of mind knowing he was injured.

It wasn't even five minutes before everyone knew about Renee screaming and hollering and being escorted down the hallway. Videos were popping up and being shared by everyone.

"Who are we talking about?" Zayn turned to Lorel who was laughing outside the classroom with some classmates.

"Renee was carried to the Principal's by security."

"Huh?"

"Yeah, She threw a metal water bottle at Saintclair and he was bleeding. Shit went down today. Like it's 9 in the morning." She chuckled at the video playing on her phone and passed it to her friend. "People are saying she went mental because Saintclair told her he only slept with her just because. He told her he wouldn't have slept with her if he knew she would go round telling everyone." Zayn had no reaction to this information since he was already aware of it. It didn't phase him at all and it all seemed like karma. He didn't know if to text Mormon but like he said, when he does he'll know and that he did.

Mormon walked up to his peers who weren't his classmates and greeted them. Lorel's energy changed once he entered the mix. She didn't like Mormon all too much because of his girlfriend and the way he talked to others in a seemingly condescending tone all the time.

"I see what you did there. Can you give me a heads up next time because I was caught off guard."

"That was the point."

"What are you two talking about?" Lorel asked, feeling a bit left out as the other three standing with them went back to class.

"Well I'll stay on alert cause frankly I'm scared."

"What the fuck are you talking about?" Lorel's tone was more aggressive than her earlier response to the conversation she had no fill on. Mormon turned to her smiling and adjusted his glasses.

"You don't need to know about everything. We're discussing something between us. I was done anyway but you're a weird one for thinking you're entitled to people's private conversations." His voice spoke in such a dismissive manner it set off.

"It's not private when it's happening right in front of me." Mormon looked at her like she was every other passing person, like nothing.

"That's why I was vague. Zayn, get your bird to lay off." Mormon pointed his finger in Lorel's face as he turned to ask Zayn. She slapped his hand away.

"What the hell?! Bruh, don't call me a bird I'm not a bird, I'm not his bird so fuck off!" He turned his slightly to her and looked her up and down and walked off to his classroom.

"Why are you talking to that disrespectful Debate kid? He's a fucking brat and acts so high and mighty. What were you talking about?"

"It's private." Lorel was taken aback. She was kinda embarrassed and still fuming. She didn't really feel like she was in the wrong but if he wanted to he would tell her. She nodded at the answer and returned to class. Daniela swapped in seeing the opportunity to speak to him without any others.

"My dad is hosting a surprise television interview with a special lucky student today and he invited your family after school. I know this is last minute and you probably haven't heard about it yet due to it being so last minute so I'm telling you now." Her smile almost warmed him.

"Uh ok."

"Wait I forgot to ask you how things are with you know who." She whispered the question in his ear causing him to laugh.

"They are.... still kinda... complicated? I don't really know. I don't think I should like him but I just can;t help it. He told me the future is open..." He felt the doubt that was instilled in him coming back into mind as he laid out the words once again and the girl's face seemed to reflect that. They had the same thoughts.

"The future is open' line." She clicked her tongue and shook his head. "I don't want to hurt your feelings but we know that, you use that so I'm.... I'm not sure how to react to that."

"Neither do I."

"I'm never gonna judge you but I want to guide you in the right direction and say I don't appreciate you getting involved with a guy who pretty much ended our friendship but it's your feelings."

He felt like his thoughts were getting the best of him and it didn't feel particularly right.

"I need to go."
