Dust kicks up in the distance. Dominic follows the hazy trail, watching it loop and zip up the winding drive. Earlier, at Alpha Prime, he had mentioned he was going camping to Eli and the guys. And when Cain had offered to let him use a couple of horses and the cabin on his property next to the caves, he was surprised. But he jumped at the offer because it had been a couple of years since he'd been out there. Plus, it's the perfect place to hold up with Jasmine. 


The property, which lies in the middle of a depression, is surrounded by woods. When Cain's parents first had the cabin built more than thirty years ago, it was far from the modern place it's been transformed into. 


About five years ago, Cain set the place up with electricity, which, actually, made the place rather self-sufficient since it runs off of solar energy. And the water, it's from a natural spring that feeds directly into the cabin.
