Chapter 54: An Eagerly Anticipated Arrival

[Pullman Saigon Centre, District 1]

Jackie was up early and headed to the gym for a light workout. She later caught up with Henry and Daphne for breakfast at the hotel restaurant.

“So, this is the big day, guys! We’ve worked hard for this… Anything you want to raise before Minh arrives?”

“Minh mentioned his driver will pick us all up by 12:15 p.m. Best we get down to the lobby by twelve,” Henry said.

“What time is Bob arriving?” she asked.

“He’s flying in on Malaysian MH750. Should arrive at the airport by 10:00 a.m. local, so he’ll probably be here at about fifteen past eleven, or thereabouts,” he replied.

Then his eyes lit up and he grinned impishly.

“You know what? We should come down to the lobby earlier for coffee. Would be good to welcome him when he gets here.”

Jackie appeared rather enthusiastic about the idea. “I couldn’t agree with you more, Henry.”

“Do I need to be down that early, too?” Daphne asked.
