Chapter 61: The Plot Thickens

[Bob’s penthouse, K Residence, KLCC]

It was late when Bob finally stepped into his luxurious pad. His phone rang and he answered immediately.

“Hi, Jackie!”

“Hey, there! Free to talk?”

“Yeah, I am. I was about to call you,” Bob replied as he tossed his satchel on the couch. “So, how are the preparations for the launch coming along? Everything in place?”

“Everything’s going really well. User signups and rider recruitment are through the roof! I can’t believe we’re already doing so well. And we’re getting a deluge of positive feedback on social media too, so we’re all quite encouraged and looking forward to tomorrow.”

“Fantastic! That’s really good to hear, Jackie. It appears I’ve invested my money in the right project!”

“Yeah, of course, you have! The team is thrilled to bits. But we’re keeping our heads down. There’s still plenty to do.”
