Chapter 29

Cedric sat in front of his tent, looking out over the forest when the sun rose into the ring of sky he could see. The Gypsy and the Hunter had just finished setting up their sleeping spaces, Jar'ra and the dwarves had already fallen asleep. He had so much information fighting for attention, his head hurt. Was what Korva showed him true? Was it all just a show put on by the fog? He felt like it had taken him days to cross the bridge, had it really only been twenty minutes like the Witch had said before they crossed?

"I'm guessing you want to talk." The Gypsy stood next to him, holding two cups of tea. He had been so consumed in the sunrise, he hadn't even heard her kettle.

Cedric had already explained everything that had happened on the bridge up to when Korva yelled at the fog. He began to explain everything he had seen while on the riverside as the Hunter who had been leaning on a root that stuck up curling beside his tent, took a seat next to him asking, "Korva was there?"
