Cedric thought he could hear a sound echoing from behind him as he climbed the Autumn stairway to the light, but the tunnels were so large and the pool so vast, he supposed it must be an animal in one of the other regions scurrying in their tunnel. As soon as he could see the platform out of the archway, Jar'ra excitedly ran up to him and barraged him with questions.
