Military involvement

Adrien woke up and the first thing he saw was a unfamiliar ceiling. He was somewhere that looked like a hospital room. He was in a bed and beside him he could see some machines attached to his arm.

He tried to get up but the pain was still present in his body. He suddenly remembered everything that happened and looked at his arms again.

' How is my arm still here ? And my legs were crushed by Victor but they feel fine. I feel completely fine aside from this sharp pain in my body'.

"That would be your spirit that is a little damaged from our merge but it'll be fine after some days of rest. Don't worry kid".

Adrien heard the voice in his head.

'Oh that makes sense'.

He closed his eyes and was going to sleep again but then he suddenly opened his eyes.

" YOU ARE REAL ?".

"Yes kid, I am very real and yes, that was not a dream".

Adrien was thinking about everything but then the door to his room opened and a middle aged nurse walked in.

"What's all that noise about ? Why are you shouting,boy ?".

"It's...nothing". Adrien smiled awkwardly.

"Well now that you are awake. I should notify the people who brought you here".

The nurse left the room. After some time, A bulky man in a military uniform entered the room.

"Your name is Adrien Angelo right ?".

"Y-Yes Sir ?" Adrien replied actively.

"I am Major Gerard from the military division in Redfield City. I have some questions for you that I would like you to answer. You were found in an unauthorised area. What were you doing there ?". The person asked in a stern voice.

" I-...…." Adrien didn't know what to say.

"Tell him you don't remember anything".

"I don't remember anything". Adrien said in a plain voice.

'He looks fine .Is it something to do with the disappearance of the meteor ?'. Major Gerard thought.

'Well I can't bring him into custody because he's from that darn Angelo family. Looks like he doesn't know anything anyways.'

"If you remember something then come see me at the Military Headquarters in the City.

"Yes Sir". Adrien replied in a straight voice again.

'Looks like your dumb look saved you this time'. Dante said in his mind while laughing.

"Hey that was rude". Adrien said in an annoyed voice.

The major that was leaving turned around

"Did you say something ?". Major Gerard asked.

"N-No Sir". Adrien said awkwardly.

The Major left the room and went back to where his men were.

"Prepare my vehicle. The Head General won't like this. I have to report to him in person".

Back in Adrien's room.

"You don't have to shout to speak to me. Just think what you want to say to me".

'Stinky old man'.

"What was that ? Say that again kid".

Dante said in an angry tone.

"It works". Adrien said chuckling.

The door to his room opened again and the same nurse entered.

" I informed your family and someone is here to get you".

The door fully opened and there was a person standing there

"Brother…." Adrien muttered in a low voice.
