Tang! Tang!

The sound of metals colliding with each other resounded inside the dark shop as the sparks scattered into the shadow.

Popey who was sitting on a stool across Vader who was reshaping the metal scrapes commented. "Ohh there be careful while handling the tool!"

Vader chose to stay until finishing the suit. Popey is a good friend of his. He worked for him as a scrape collector and had a one-year relationship as a part-time employee. So it wasn't weird for popey to be trustful towards him.

"Just give me a few more hours and I'll leave."

Vader replied and continued to hammer the metals he amassed.

Opposite him was a furnace. Most scrape shops wouldn't have one but, Popey possessed those thanks to his late father who was a black smith. Those were the tools left by his father. However, those were just kept in the corner of the room to be in slumber.

"Hah, take your time"

Popey sighed and once again walked into his home as Vader continually hammered the metals.

Vader was no blacksmith nor a gunsmith. He was an engineer. He knew how to design and construct things. As such he cannot make every part of the suit on his own.

"Hah! "Hah!"

'I don't have the stamina to hammer anymore.'

He uttered and quenched the tools and heated it once again beat the again. His work was no more than amateurish.

After an hour Popey walked in and laid his eyes on the young lad who was passionately working on his weapon drenched in sweat. His face was dirtied and fatigued. His were glimmering as he placed a pan-like object on the anvil.

The shapes of the objects he created were deformed and unsightly. He couldn't even guess what he was doing.

"Hey have some of this drink."

Popey said and placed the cup on the table next to him and sat.

He noticed Vader didn't pay heed still concentrating on those things.

"Hey, what the hell are you even doing? How about I do the work for you. I might be amateurish but, I am a son of a blacksmith. I do know the basics."

[Information: The Jadium helmet is made by a novice without any blacksmithing skill. Possesses high shock resistance however because of the gaps and deformation the efficiency has been lowered.]

'Fuck!'

Vader cursed after reading the information and turned towards Popey.

"Okay, I have some designs in mind. I'll write it down. But, I want them by tomorrow."

"Bossing me around, huh? I am not doing a charity though. You'll have to pay me at least ten jades."

"Deal"

"I am surprised that you accepted it so quickly."

"Well, some things should be fair. You are going to make something that'll be aiding me as a life force."

"Perhaps you are trying to make an armor?"

"Something similar."

He replied and picked up a random set of papers next to him. Placing it on the counter he began drawing using quill Popey pushed towards him.

"Wait! Wait! What are you writing those lists for? There are so many!"

Popey said grabbing Vader's hand that held the quill.

"These are the list of items. You have to make. I have already made some just alter them to the shapes I design you." Vader said without averting his eyes from the papers.

"Okay..."

"I'll begin the designing now," Vader replied and began drawing the wrist blades first.

Those were made for emergencies and seemed detachable from the arm guards. He wanted to be prepared for any sort of trouble that might appear. At the very moment he is building his suit there should be a battle between the extraterrestrial monster that invaded this mundane.

"What sort of things are these? I'd have to work sleeplessly for a whole night to make these."

"Now do you see why I was ready to give you ten jades?"

He said and placed ten jade coins on the table.

Immediately Popey smiled at him.

"You clearly know how to shut my mouth, don't you? Popey said pulling Vader's cheeks with a smirk.

"Hah"

Vader sighed and continued his work. Popey was fascinated yet, couldn't understand what this young lad was trying to create. All he saw were designs of individual parts.

Vader didn't want to clearly show out his designs and gave him the designs of each part individually. So that these wouldn't get out of his hands. And he could assemble them after he finishes.

"Why do these things have holes inside them."

Popey said pointing at the metal parts that possessed holes in them.

"Those have a purpose. They will be the circuits for the power that connects batteries from the battery stations." Vader said pointing at the blueprint.

The arm guards, The shoulder blade, the insides of the boots and guards everything's internal side had lines and intricate holes make to connect with the battery which will be set at the back of the suit.

"Batteries and stations? I do not understand..."

"Hmm, something similar to engines."

He replied and picked up a chunk of rusted metal.

[Information: A metal, highly inflammable and reactive. It that can be used in batteries]

Reading the information a smile bloomed on his face. He was going for a pair of huge dry cells.

"Those can be toxic," Popey said.

"Indeed"

Vader replied and began to assemble a few parts collecting from the scrambles. He then began to draw the designs of the parts he needed once again for an hour and gave it to Popey.

Popey's face was anxious as he took the hammer. The beads of sweat began to ooze out of his temples as he began to heat the metals.

'I don't know what type of monsters emerged out there... But, I am sure all the police and scavengers should have been called out by now'

He muttered as he watched the violent flames.
