PHOBIA STEVE

"It would be better if we sit here with our children, right dear?" said Sonia with a cheerful face.

Edward smiled and nodded, he spread his arms now and told Sonia to rest freely on his chest.

Edward made Sonia fall asleep in his lap, while still stroking the girl's hair. Then picked him up and laid him on the bed.

He looked at his wife's cool face and tucked her hair behind her ear.

"I also want to give you a child, of course I want my dear, but I also didn't know I would experience something like this!" Edward whispered to himself.

Edward did not go to sleep immediately after that, he went to his desk to search the internet for the best Azoospermia treatment. But the solution that came out was surgery according to what the doctor said.

"If that's the solution, I probably should," Edward whispered, his gaze returning to Sonia's sleeping face. He thought hard about having surgery but without his wife's knowledge, because it would make Sonia feel hurt and would forbid the operation.

But Edward also doesn't want to be selfish, he also hopes to give Sonia happiness by fertilizing her womb.

The next day Edward left for work before Sonia got up, he couldn't bear to wake her up because it was overcast and cold outside, making Sonia sleep longer.

An hour after Edward left, Sonia woke up and went down to the first floor for breakfast. She understood that her husband was gone as soon as she looked at the clock on the wall. Steve was sitting at the dining table, he kept looking at his cell phone.

and returned it again, his face panicked and seemed to tremble. "Sis, are you okay?" Sonia asked worriedly.

"Do you think there will be thunderstorms today? I saw on the internet the weather forecast will be thunderstorms!" Sonia looked up at the sky outside her large glass window, and saw a black cloud that was sure to rain.

"It must be raining, it's already cold!" answered Sonia then.

Hearing Sonia's answer, Steve was shaking and his hands were sweating.

Not long there was a rumbling sound and rain fell, a flash of light that made a loud noise following the rain immediately made Steve short of breath, he held his own chest.

Sonia panicked, Steve didn't move and his hands were getting wet.

He approached his brother-in-law. "Please take me to the room!" Steve said, holding Sonia's arm tightly and a pleading look.

Sonia immediately supported her sister-in-law and entered the room.

Just as Steve sat on the bed the sound of thunder again made him scream and hold Sonia's hand tightly. "Sis, are you okay?" Sonia panicked.

"Can I ask you a favor, are you here until the rain subsides a bit?" Steve was sure to say that too because his bedroom door was wide open.

Sonia nodded, she also brought her cellphone and told her husband about what happened to Steve, he thought that his brother in law was sick and needed to call the doctor.

But Edward tells Sonia to accompany Steve for a while until the rain stops and explains what happens to Steve if he hears lightning and sees flashes when it rains.

When it rains, thunder and lightning begin to appear.

Lightning and lightning are also a sign of this coming rain, often making some people surprised.

The loud sound and the sudden reflection of bright light made people even fear seeing it. However, if this fear makes a person anxious and worried or causes other more serious reactions, this can be called Lightning Phobia or Astraphobia.

After hearing Edward's explanation, Sonia finally understood and it was only natural that her sister continued to see the weather forecast on her cellphone. Steve kept his head down, Sonia put him to sleep and covered Steve's body.

He was just about to leave Steve holding his hand.

"Where? Wait a minute Son!" "I got a drink for you, Sis, for a moment!" Sonia answered calmly and just went to get a glass of water from the automatic refrigerator in Steve's room, then gave it to the man.

Steve lay on his bed and put the blanket over his body. Sonia closed the curtains in the room with the click of a button on the automatic remote for the curtains.

The sound of thunder is not very audible. "Sis, I've heard from Edward about Astraphobia that happened to you! I also read other solutions to overcome it, do you want to try it?" Sonia asked, bringing her face closer to her sister, after she sat on the bench beside her sister-in-law's bed.

"Try what? Overcome?" asked Steve. Sonia nodded. "Exposure therapy.

In this therapy, people with astraphobia will be confronted directly with their fears.

With exposure therapy, people with astraphobia are expected to be able to face and beat the fear of lightning slowly!" explained Sonia.

Steve had heard these things for a long time but his excessive fear made him reluctant to try. But within seconds Sonia opened the big curtains again to reveal the rainy sky outside, which made Steve close his eyes tightly. Sonia got up and helped her sister-in-law sit down. "Sis, now open your eyes, and see!" Even though Steve struggled to open his eyes.

The katana of light seemed to be visible, her hands shaking even more.

Sonia put her face close to Steve's ear, she now wants to do another solution, namely Cognitive behavioral therapy CBT.

CBT is a form of talk therapy psychotherapy. Through this therapy, Steve will be invited to change negative or wrong thought patterns towards certain objects, and replace them with more rational ways of thinking.

Then Dialectical behavioral therapy, DBT is a therapy that combines CBT with meditation and stress reduction techniques to overcome phobias.

This therapy is designed to help Steve process and regulate emotions so as to reduce the anxiety and fear he feels. "Look, the lightning is just outside it only makes sound and won't hurt you Sis, the light is bright like the sun we see all day but lightning comes for a while when the weather is dark!" Sonia started doing it and now Steve was staring ahead.

Even though he was still nervous, Sonia's voice managed to indoctrinate him to keep staring at the cool sky.

He didn't feel as shaky as before, and could catch his breath better. For about 15 minutes he did that, then he slept in his bed with the window open and kept staring at the sky.

"Just stare, and keep imagining that there's someone accompanying Big Brother even when you're alone!" Sonia kept talking, until finally she got tired and fell asleep beside Steve half body sitting on the chair.

Steve felt calm for the first time. Usually he desperately when it rains to catch his breath for storm shadows and such.
