Learning and Prison

I will admit I have made some mistakes but in my defense, I didn't think that the consequences would be that bad. I have however learned stuff from the other prisoners about the nether while I have been locked up here, firstly is that the guards here are a sub-specie of piglin called piglin brutes.

They are stronger, faster, more durable, but traded that for heightened aggressiveness and lowered intelligence. They are so stupid in fact that most of them can't even speak Pechin they also have a hard time determining age as well.

I learned about the council of elders and how it was made up of the leaders of each race living in Urbs Inferni those being the Piglin Queen, the Illagers High Priestess, the Pech's CEO, the Origin Slime, the Blaze Empress, the Wither Pope, the Elderman, and Wisps Arch Mage.

The Illagers High Priestess is the leader of the Illagers, they are very religious and their religion is based upon exploiting magic to its fullest. Illager society is heavily based upon the creation of magical tools with your rank depending on what you can create, with the high priestess rumored to beagle to defy death itself.

The CEO is the leader of the Pech, their society is almost entirely composed of traders and merchants. With the entire race being almost one big corporation, the CEO of that corporation is their leader.

The Origin Slime is the creator of the slimes and because of that, they are their representative. Slimes are amorphous blobs of jelly, they are capable of shapeshifting along with being able to fit into any opening.

The Blazes are a hive mind with the Empress being the one in control, blazes are primal fire elementals with exceptional control over fire along with being entirely immune to any form of heat. The Blazes are also exceptional alchemists capable of creating elixirs that defy nature.

The Wither Skeletons are run by their pope, and they are all extremely devout towards their god the Wither, a supposed god of decay. Skeletons are created by corrupting the undead and scorching their bones till they are black. Funnily enough, they have control over both life and death due to the nature of their god of decay.

The Enderman call their leader the Elderman, not much is known about the enderman but from what I learned they escaped from an extremely oppressive regime and the Elderman was the leader of that rebellion. Most enderman hate for others to look at their eyes but after so many years in the nether they have mellowed out no longer killing people for looking at their eyes.

The Wisps was a race I hadn't seen upon first arriving in the nether, but that was because they don't take all that well to the heat of the nether and often hole up in their labs. Their society is based upon ranks of magical ability with their only Arch Mage being the current leader. From what I have heard they have control over the elements, although not as extreme as the Blazes they still have quite the control over magic.

Lastly the Piglin's Queen, she came to power after she led her forces against the Brutes oppressive forces. She was able to claim victory by using superior tactics and better equipment. Upon winning she used the Brute's strength to clear out the Fortress and to guard over the Bastion. Although the Brutes should bow down to the strongest, they have been secretly defying the queen. Their leader Brad had gained the trust of the queen to secretly commit crimes without her catching on.

After being brought down here I was fully stripped and chained to the wall. This dungeon is supposedly a secret room that was kept hidden after the council came to power. I have been down here FOR 3 FUCKING YEARS! Turns out Piglins don't need anywhere NEAR as much food or water as humans do!

They fed us every 5 days, and never seemed to get the memo that I needed more water than they did, luckily the taint could be used to supplement the need for water or food, although I tried to use it as little as possible.

To feed the prisoners they brought us to a large room FILLED with rotting flesh, I have NEVER had 'food' this bad before even eating the brains of animals was heaven in comparison. I mean firstly the flesh was raw and most definitely decaying so the smell of unrefrigerated rotting meat was not a good start. Secondly, I have no idea how, but the food was either super wet and mushy or really crunchy, the worst part was that you couldn't eat just one or another. A bite could be wet and gross the first time and crunchy the next bite. It sure didn't help that it both tasted rancid, and the fact that the Brutes raped the prisoners while they ate.

I was lucky to be seen as 'not worth it's after a certain incident; during one of the first few feeding times, one of the brutes tried to touch me but was really surprised when I ripped his arm out of its socket. They stopped trying after the first incident repeated itself, I didn't get off scot-free though instead of being used as stress relief I was used to vent their anger and violet tendencies. Piglins have a rather terrible healing factor with almost every cut taking almost 3x as much time as a normal human would.

The brutes however are terrible at torturing people, not in the fact they don't cause pain but in the fact they would totally kill someone while doing so. I didn't know if it was because they were tougher or the fact they were fucking mentally handicapped but they did not know how to keep a target alive.

I have never been more thankful for the taint than when I got down here. If I didn't have it then eating the rotting meat would have killed me, I would likely have my innocence spoiled, and I most definitely would have died multiple times over.

While being stuck down here I have been having some fun though! I have been talking with the taint since I have been using it more and more recently. It turns out something in the nether inhibits the spread of taint so using it has become more common. I have also been vomiting flux recently and that has pooled up in my cell.

I also have been having crazy visions and nightmares so getting sleep has been a bitch. I have been seeing something standing just in the corner of my vision in the shadows, it always has this creepy grin on its face but when I turn to look directly at it, it disappears!

I am getting sick of being here but I haven't had a chance to escape, the manacles are heavy and limit my movement, and not having properly eaten in around 3 years means my already limited strength is further limited.
