THE PREGNANCY

          "you are really going to spend the whole day in there, please I really got some work to do" she exclaimed.  she fled herself on the bed, Kaima walks out.

          "I was just taken my bath" she said, as she cleans up, with a towel, kaima brutal.

         "So, I should pee on my pant" hush into the bathroom

          "Hum…, how did the job interview go" she said, as she goes search through the wears hang.

      "It's like your brain loses current at some point. when did we have that discussion. me job interview, I can never work for anyone. I told you how I'm going to open a small business…" she said behind the door, paused, a sound of a water running, it went silent. She walked at the door, in her hand she holds a test kit. As she read through it, she covers her mouth with her hand, fresh tears penetrate through her cheek.

         "Tell me this is not true" she gasped, Kaima was putting on her wears, she turns to face her. Their eyes met it was like on river meeting another river. Kaima opened her mouth, word couldn't come out, she closed it, opened it again, gasped. as if she was in a search for oxygen. Her eyes drawn in tears, a blink of her eyes forces the tear down her cheeks. Everywhere went blank.

          Feature again, they were lying on the bed, there head attached like there head was glue together, has they took time to wet the bed enough, Kaima still wrapped up in the towel.

"You're going to tell him" Chinasa request.

"I'm scared to tell him, what if he refused" she retort

          Chinasa sit up with so much speed, as if she was being bitten by a soldier ant, she turns to her, so a stunned. "His going to decline to take responsibility, is there something you're not telling me?" She grunts. she looked at Kaima, an eye lifts a bit wide than the other, the message was written clear

"No.... his the only one" she said snappy

          "So, what are you saying. Kaima, this is pregnancy we're talking about. He has to take responsibility, you have to…" she paused, gets conscious of the environment she was. "Tell him, you guys should work this out" she whispered

          She sits up to face her. "how I'm I going to tell him? what I'm I going to tell him?" she said so inquisitive.

       "look at me. If this guy truly loves you as he claimed, he would take up his responsibility" she advises

"But his still a student?" She said defensive

      "And so what. Is that a point? his grown up, or less you want to execute that little thing" she cautioned.

"No, I can't do that, I can't have an abortion" she exclaimed.

           "You have to let him know, he has to". she urged. kaima buried her face on her hand. "I want you to know this. No matter what comes up, and which ever decision you make. I will just be right here" she tact smiling, as she cuddles her     

           Nnenna broke in piece, compose herself to sit on a chair. Pains weaken her skin, she stares at Maize Okorie's picture, on a frame on the wall, it was like he was just there watching them. She stares at the door, she so wishes she was there to comfort her, tell her it's going to be ok. Chinasa has completely takeover her chances of being there with Kaima, Chinasa was now like a backbone, her strength and her best friend. No matter what it is, Kaima never opens up to Nnenna, they have depended on their fate to keep Nnenna away from the stress and pain in their personal lives. Mary death change Chinasa completely, she helps her mother in the business she does. before she decided to start a little business with the money she had.

         The door opened He walks in to meet her; she was sitting on a couch still holding tight on her hand bag

"Babe, I'm sorry to keep you waiting, I told you about the project I was running with my team, it's really going to be big" he said so excited. He fled on the bed giggling, clutching the pillow so tight. "can you believe; the minister of education has given full support for it". He noticed she wasn't into it; he sits cuddle her.  "I have to schedule the meeting I was having, just to be here with you. I'm sorry, I kept you waiting". she was still in her restrict mood. "Ok fine, what's the problem? please tell me? what have I done this time" he queries

"A lot "she brutal, without turning to him, his eyes went wide open, he felt like something was pulling his heart out from his chest.

He clears his throat "what did I do?" He illustrates

      "I told you, we have to slow down, take things a step at a time, but you didn't listen…" she paused. turned to face him, his cloths, has been drowned in sweat, the sweat on her face glide than his jug, like he was poured water. he indicates a go ahead sign with his head. He knew something was up, it wasn't something he was ready to hear but as long as it's her, it concerns him.

       "it's months now, I haven't seen my period" she said in proverb,

     "Ok, so what happened? have you done a check", He caution.  She was shock to core as she gazes at him.  "maybe…"

       "Maybe, what!!!" cut him off. he knew what she meant. "That its suddenly stop. or maybe I block it" she grunts

    "Hey babe chill..., relax. Be calm. Ok... talk to me what happened?" He console

"Adex, I'm pregnant, I'm carry your baby" she groaned.

       He inhaled, releasing the air through his mouth, he stoops up, stares through the window. Stare down floor, like he was in search of something, deep his two hands on his pocket

         "Adex didn't you heard what I said? I said I'm pregnant" she repeats. he nods. "Ok....what are we going to do, about it". walks to him. "talk to me" she whispered. her voice breaking.

      He robs his hand on his face, he bites his lips, stretches his body, "um..." he stamper, tears drop down his eye. Kaima freeze where she was standing, she held back the tears in eye. She has to be strong, she has to prove to him, she will be strong, tears cloud her eye, He was just starring at her.

       "I love you. But this. I'm not ready, I can't be a father, not know." he exclaimed

"So, what do you want me to do?". She asked curiously.

"Abortion" he gasped

"what?!!!, what did you say?" she inquiry

    "Take the pills. If you don't know one, your sister will help you" he brutal. she landed a slap on his cheek, for the first time, she took such reaction.

"I thought you are accountable, but you're worst of them all" she roars, leaving.

       "If you truly love me, you will do it for me" he gasped. she turns stares at him for some minute, tears gliding down her eyes, she wipes it and left.
