Falling into the Trap Set by Herself

Audrey's questioning made Susie panic. She tightly grabbed the table in front of her, and her back was covered in a cold sweat.

Susie was even more flustered after meeting Audrey's eyes.

Who was this lawyer? Why did he know that she would lie in advance and have prepared the evidence?

Now, she completely fell into the trap she had set before.

"I ... I..." Susie stuttered, unable to come up with a complete sentence. She quickly looked at Dick and asked him for help.

The prosecution lawyer stood up. "Your Honor, I object. I object to the mental attack of the defendant's lawyer against the witness."

Audrey smiled elegantly. "Sir, I just asked a normal question because I have evidence to prove that there is something wrong with the witness' words. And, the witness is very likely to commit perjury. My question is legitimate. Your Honor, please allow me to continue asking the witness because this concerns my client's innocence."

The two judges discussed for a while.
