He Sees Hell in His Eyes

She was mine?

Hearing that, Hendrix felt a little strange.

But he didn't know what's wrong.

It was almost 11 o'clock. Time passed so slowly that there was still an hour before midnight. Maverick had something to deal with so he left.

Before he left, he said to Hendrix, "If she wakes up, tell me."

Before Hendrix could figure out what was going on, he heard that Maverick was preparing to leave. He pondered for a moment, chased after Maverick, and stopped him at the door of the sick room.

"I only say this once." Hendrix said seriously, "Hendrix, I am not a good person either. But we both know what things we could do and what we couldn't. I don't know whether you are suitable for my sister. If you want to be with her, you can’t let her be in any danger."

"I won't."

He didn't say, I promise. Maybe he didn't like to promise others.

He was not sure how much danger they would encounter in the future either.
