James had predicted that Zoey would talk about children, so he deliberately made things difficult for Emma to divert her attention.
But Zoey wasn't be distracted as he expected and still urged him to have a child.
"Libby, is dinner ready?" James changed the topic again.
"Yes, it's done," Libby answered and attentively served the dishes.
"Grandma, come and try Libby's cooking." James went to the dining table with Kara before Zoey could react.
Zoey became dark-faced. She patted Emma in her arms.
Emma quickly got up and helped Zoey to the dining table.
Zoey took the seat of honor. James sat on the second seat on her left with Kara beside him. Emily and Emma sat opposite them.
The atmosphere was a bit strange. Libby stood next to Zoey and introduced the dishes.
Zoey glanced at James and spoke slowly, "James, I am getting old and my health is not in a good condition. My only wish is to have a grandchild. Otherwise, when I die, I can't give your grandfather an explanation."
