Worthless Apology

On summer nights there were full of stars.

James was worried that it was too cool when the night wind blew. So he untied his robe and pulled Kara into his arms.

He was tall and strong. His sleeping robe was so loose that there was no problem at all wrapping her up.

Kara put herself in his arms, listening to his steady heartbeat and looking up at the stars in the sky.

"James, you did something wrong."

"What?"

James rested his chin on Kara's shoulder and rubbed his head against her neck after Kara's words.

James hadn't washed up yet, nor did the shaving work. The stubble that had just appeared made Kara uncomfortable.

Kara was tickled by him. She laughed to avoid him and raised her hands to surrender.

"You smoked."

Kara felt the smell from James' body. Because James lost his sense of taste, he kept cigarettes and alcohol away, as well as anything pungent-smelling.

"Do you mind it?"
