A Gloomy Man

Tomorrow was the traditional holiday, but Kara never thought about paying respects to James' parents. Kara felt a little guilty.

"It's still early. Let's buy a bunch of flowers. We'll visit your mother first and then visit my parents, okay?"

James raised his eyebrows and kissed her on the forehead. Then he told Mason where they would go.

The cemeteries where Vivian and Kara's parents were buried were not in the same area. Vivian's grave was closer.

James got out of the car and went to the flower shop. Kara followed behind like a little tail.

He chose a bunch of yellow chrysanthemums. But Kara suddenly asked.

"James, do you know what kind of flower your mother liked?"

James stared at the yellow chrysanthemum in his hand and turned to look at the bright red roses on the flower rack.

"Give me another bouquet of roses."

"And two pink roses," Kara added.

"Why two?" James was puzzled.
