Ready to Move out of the Villa

James drove Kara to the studio.

Sitting in the front passenger seat, Kara looked at him, confused. She didn't understand why he personally drove her to the studio.

It was too quiet in the car. Thinking about what happened in the morning, Kara coughed awkwardly, trying to ease the atmosphere.

"Uncle James, the college entrance examination score is out. I got into University A. I am so happy."

"Well."

James looked ahead and responded indifferently.

Kara pursed her lips and continued to cheer, "Well, thank you, Uncle James. If you hadn't taught me, I definitely wouldn't have done so well."

"How are you going to thank me?" He turned to look at her.

...

Kara was stunned for a few seconds. She twisted her small hands and subconsciously pinched the necklace on her neck with her left hand.

"Uncle James, how can I thank you?"

James snorted coldly.

He looked at her with contempt for her playing dumb.

Kara looked down and played with her fingers, not knowing how to face him.
