Never Divorce, Maybe Widowed

Kathleen was so angry at Kara's words that she was about to explode. But on second thought, it meant that Kara had let the cat out of the bag without being pressed just now.

"Kara, so you admitted that you kidnapped me. I didn't expect you to be so vicious. You want to kill me out of selfish motives!"

Sophia, sitting next to Kathleen, was thinking of what Kara had done to her in order to take away James: kidnapping her daughter, almost killing her and making her miss the engagement banquet.

In that moment, her heart was filled with hatred, and she stood up with the impulse to beat Kara.

"You bitch, when your grandmother nearly beat you to death, I shouldn't have been so kind to save you. I didn't expect you to be so vicious that you even want to kill Kathleen."

There was a resounding slap in the face.

It stopped Sophia speaking.

She covered her face in disbelief and stared at Kara in shock.
