Kara pursed her lips. Listening to his mockery, Kara helplessly walked to the man.

Corey leaned against the car and looked at Kara coldly. Looking at her bright makeup, he became a little absent-minded.

Kara sensed his gaze and unconsciously took a step back.

Just as she was about to speak, her arm was grabbed and a tall figure stood in front of her.

"As an elder, it is inappropriate for you to stare at Kara like this."

James' voice was cold, and his tone carried a ghastly warning.

Corey came back to his senses, the corners of his mouth twitched. "Dressing like this, Kara looks more like her mother. But her eyes are prettier than her mother's."

Thinking of her mother, Kara was a little sad and looked up at him.

"Uncle Corey, why don't we go in and talk?"

Corey shook his head and crooked his finger at her, asking her to extend her wrist.

"In the future, you have to check your pulse twice a week. Hazel has to do the treatment for you three times a week. Don't forget."
