I Dream About Her

All the passion faded in an instant. Esther shook her head and answered very earnestly, "No, I have never seen you before."

"No?" Terence asked.

"No, I think you're thinking of someone else. The woman you have seen before is not me, but Miss Shirly." Esther hardened her stance and spoke about "Miss Shirly", so Terence was broad awake.

Terence was stunned. When looked down at Esther and noticed that she didn't look well, he said softly, "Sorry."

Esther suppressed the discomfort, smiled at him, and said, "It's nothing. Didn't you say that everyone can keep a person that they don't want to forget in mind this morning?"

A trace of uneasiness flashed across Terence's eye because he did say that and he had warned her to keep that person in mind but she could give no sign of it.

However, Terence was the first to make the mistake in less than a day.

Terence turned over, lay on the bed in frustration, reached out, and pressed the button. The room was then shrouded in darkness.
