Discuss It at Lunch

That night.

Phillip was unsurprisingly sent to the guest room to sleep. He tried to change her mind before calmly accepting it and going to the guest room.

However, in the middle of the night, Ann heard the sound of the door lock turning. Then the bedroom door was opened and a tall figure came in.

Phillip walked to the bed and bent down.

Phillip was enveloped in a familiar fragrance. Ann's closed eyes fluttered slightly, and her hand under the pillow clenched slightly.

Ann cursed silently, 'I just knew it.'

The next second, she felt a gentle kiss on her cheek. Then she felt his hand on her waist.

There sounded an exclamation.

This was the sound of someone taking a cold breath.

Phillip still held her, pursing his lips, his deep eyes staring at the thing in Ann's hand.

Afraid of waking up the kids, Phillip lowered his voice as he said, "How could you hide this thing in your bed?"

There was faint moonlight in the room. The thing in Ann's hand flashed in a cold silver light.
