A loud slap sounded.

Daisy pushed Todd away. She saw the lipstick marks mixed with blood stains on his lip and the faint palm print on his left face. Daisy's eyes were a little flustered, but she quickly concealed it.

Todd made light of the slap. He raised his hand to touch the lip that had been bitten by Daisy, and he curled up his lips into a smile.

"Daisy, your body is always more honest than your words."

Daisy frowned and stared at Todd warily. "What nonsense are you talking about? Do you know where it is?"

"Daisy, I've treated you well by all means, and you? You are too stubborn to let it go. Why did you come to see the so-called fiancé? You just wanted to force me to play hardball, right?"

Daisy raised her hand, but she was restrained by Todd's hand and raised it above her head.
