Why Do You Close the Door?

Seeing that Ann was silent, Melinda was not affected. Melinda just pulled Ann's hand with a sigh.

"Ann, I know that no matter how hard I try to remedy it, you still hate me. I don't expect you to rely on me.

"When I'm old, I'll move to a nursing home. When I die, I'll have my ashes scattered into the sea. I will be carefree then." As Melinda spoke, tears seemed to fall from her eyes.

"Recently, I suddenly received the news. I heard that Jazmin is not dead."

Ann's long eyelashes trembled slightly, and she was a little surprised by this news.

Melinda had been secretly observing Ann's expression. When Melinda saw the shock in Ann's eyes, Melinda frowned.

It seemed that Ann did not know that Jazmin was still alive. Melinda wondered whether Phillip didn't tell Ann or whether Phillip didn't know about this.

After thinking about it, Melinda sighed and spoke.

"When I heard this news, my heart was also filled with joy and worry."
