A Misunderstanding

At half past nine in the evening, Pearl paid for their midnight snack.

She looked at Robert, who was sleeping like a log now, and felt helpless.

William just threw Robert here and she didn't know how to deal with him.

The business card given by William had only an address on it. It was impossible for her to goof off and contact Robert's relatives to pick him up.

"Miss Rich, it's time for us to close for the day."

The chef packed up and came over.

There were many elder neighbors around the restaurant, and they could not stand the noise. So, when the chef opened the restaurant, he promised the neighbors that he would close the restaurant at half past nine every day.

"We'll leave now."

Pearl stood up and pushed Robert, but he did not respond.

"Sir, what kind of wine did you bring? He only drank one cup of wine and he was drunk."

The special wine was served only one cup at every table. And Robert drank it all.

Pearl also wanted to drink it, but not a single drop was left.
