A Pawn

Blood spurted out from the chest. It was hot. In an instant, it fell on the silver-gray carpet, dyeing the carpet red.

Hazel's heart almost stopped beating. Hazel suddenly found that the kidnapping she went through before was nothing. It was the first time Hazel had been so close to death.

The accident in the parking lot was just a small performance. Now, it was a big show.

However, among all the people who were involved, Hazel was the only one who was risking her life. She could probably die if something went wrong.

The bodies of the two bodyguards were pierced through more than a dozen holes by the bullets. As long as they were still alive, they guarded the cabin door, trying to leave Baron more time.

Suddenly, Hazel burst into tears and felt complicated.

Hazel was both scared and sad. In danger, Baron was still calm but became more serious.

Hazel felt that she was in an ice world, cold, trembling, and surrounded by countless snow.

"Come over and stand behind me."
