The Last Glimmer of Hope Was Gone

Julia was worried a lot and asked the butler to bring the medical kit over. Then she went downstairs to persuade Reyna.

Julia took an umbrella and ran to the fountain. To protect Reyna from the rain, she put the umbrella up over Reyna's head.

"Miss Reyna, the water in the pool flows through the holes. The ring may have gone with the water. Let's go back first. We will look for it tomorrow, okay?"

"No..." She pushed Julia's hands away. "I must find the ring. I can't lose it... I really can't..."

Through her trembled teeth, Julia heard her voice weak. Nevertheless, she wouldn't go back without finding that ring.

Julia was still trying to persuade, "Miss Reyna, you can't be outside anymore with the rain. You will catch a cold! Come on up."

Reyna ignored Julia. She kept squatting in the pool, scrabbling around to search for the ring.

For three hours, Reyna hadn't stopped, but she still didn't find it when she was worn out, even when the rain stopped.
