Betray Him

Reyna fixed her eyes on him. Wasn't this her towel?

Leroy noticed there was something off and walked towards her barefoot.

Every time Leroy approached, Reyna took a step back and finally retreated to the corner of the sofa. There was nowhere to escape.

Leroy looked at her face and said, "Are you afraid of me?"

"No!"

Leroy looked down and noticed the phone on the ground.

He bent down to pick up the phone and flipped it over. The screen was still on the page where she had just entered the number.

The light from the screen lit the handsome face of this man. Immediately, the corner of his mouth curled coldly. He raised his head, and his aggressive black eyes reflected her panicked face. "911 ... Reyna, you want to call the police?"

"No!" Reyna wanted to snatch her phone back, but Leroy's hand turned in another direction so she didn't get it.

"Reyna, you're not telling the truth." The man's calm voice sounded loud in the quiet hall.

The rain outside began to stop.
