Her Fate

"Don't you blame him?" Reyna saw calm in Ingrid's eyes.

Ingrid seemed to get used to all of this.

She shook her head. Suddenly she remembered something and lifted the blanket to get out of bed.

Reyna stopped her, "What's wrong?"

"My grandfather is still at home. I need to go."

"But you're still injured. You can't leave now."

"I'm fine now. I have to go home. Otherwise, my grandfather will be worried."

"You can call him."

"My grandfather doesn't know how to use a cell phone."

There was another reason why Ingrid insisted on returning. She could not afford the medical expenses.

The money she earned was for her grandfather, so she absolutely couldn't waste it.

Seeing that Ingrid was so determined, Reyna called in the doctor. Since Ingrid was in good condition, the doctor asked her to come over in a few days to remove the stitches before discharging her.

It was already past eight o'clock in the evening until Reyna brought Ingrid home.
