Trap Her

Reyna calmed down and asked, "Dereon, how is Bentley? Is he all right?"

Dereon turned his eyes to look at her.

Reyna was still wearing indoor slippers and a set of home clothes. Only a coat was draped over her body. Her hair was messy and she was breathing heavily, looking both anxious and worried.

She was wearing indoor slippers in the winter, so others saw that she was in a hurry to get there.

"The wound on his body suddenly deteriorated and the high fever caused a coma. He is in surgery but his condition is not optimistic."

Reyna almost fell. "How could this be? Wasn't he fine yesterday? How could it suddenly worsen?"

"He's been unstable. If you see him acting like he's fine, it's only because he's trying to do his best in front of you.

In the past, every time she saw Rayna coming, Mrs. Dekker would reprimand her for leaving. But today, maybe she was totally worried about Bentley. Throughout, she cried silently, worried and scared.
