Leave Him to Die

Reyna had not had the nightmare of Lance being killed at the scene for almost a month. However, after a few days, she did not expect that the nightmare would start to pester her again.

Now that her emotions had stabilized, she felt her throat dry and her whole body was very tired.

She could only get out of bed, turn on the light, and want to pour some warm water to drink, but the water in the kettle was already cold, and she could only go downstairs to the kitchen to pour it again.

She opened the door and walked out with a glass of water in her hand.

Just as they passed through the master bedroom, a painful groan slowly floated out from the crack in the door.

She paused and stopped.

Thinking back to what Julia had told her not long ago, she seemed to have expected something and slowly pushed open the door of the master bedroom.

As the door was pushed open, the moaning of the man inside became clearer.
