He suddenly got too close and Valery subconsciously held her breath.
Haiden seemed to have discovered it and smiled slightly.
"Alright, I won't ask anymore." Valery stood up and let out a breath. Then she walked to the mirror. As she looked at it, she then turned back to ask, "Mr. Cox, is this necklace a gift for me, or will the bill be taken out from my salary?"
Haiden chuckled and picked up his coat and walked out, saying, "Let's go eat first."
Valery held his hand and went out for dinner. When she came back, she met a few male classmates of Haiden. When those people faced Haiden, their attitudes obviously changed.
They were respectful and polite, with a bit of flattery and fear.
Eric had left a long time ago. Only the bride, Amy, was left sitting alone in the lounge. When Amy heard that Haiden and his girlfriend had come out for dinner, she quickly made up and came out.
