9. A War rages in East Paris

The Land of Thickhill East of Paris was a very notable Land and was blessed with alot of resources which was reason for it's wealth and blessings. It's Leader and King Dartsmall was a very selfish and a very avaricious and grasping King one that sought to possess all the wealth in and of other Lands.

The King Dartsmall was engulfed with the News of the birth of Petrelli Knight the only Son and Heir to the King Aiglestar and it did not augur well to him who unlike King Aiglestar was unable to procreate for he had many wives and due to his wickedness and unfaithfulness made grudgs with them and lost them all. But King Aiglestar was very able to beget a Son and next King after waiting for plans to scale through the delivery of Petrelli Knight his child.

The Baby's birth and popularity in the Land was something of Epoch and King Dartsmall wished to have some of the child's gifts stolen for his own selfish needs so that the Child Petrelli Knight would be poorer and so that his paucity would mean a pain of malignant loss and dispute in the Land of Carmosa.

King Aiglestar had lived one year with the baby Petrelli Knight and his wife the Queen Batistas who was the baby's Mother had just recovered her voice so the little Prince could hear from it's Mother.

Soon there was much rancour and aversion in the Land as the people of Carmosa heard of the upcoming siege by the people of East Paris against their beautiful land.

There were five thousand Thanes and Calvarymen and Knights in the Land of Thickhill in East Paris.

The King Dartsmall sent message that the land of Carmosa would be under great siege and attack by his Men and himself in a violent bid to steal by vengeance all that belonged to the people of Carmosa including the enormous gifts of the Prince the year old baby heir.

During the time of reception of the News of the upcoming siege there was before then much noise and much partying and a year had elapsed since the baby was celebrated in its first year of the Festbaby ceremony and Dramatists and Musicians were at work entertaining the King Aiglestar and his Carmosa kingdom and King Aiglestar had been in glee enjoying and having a good time over the birth of Petrelli Knight which brought him immense joy and benevolence as there was much blessing and favour as celebration was on the Heights of the Land of Carmosa.

The whole land of Carmosa was terrified at the sudden news of the attack which was to engulf the Land by the Men of East Paris who provoked to short-live their joy and lead to much demise, disaster and calamity in their Land.

During this period of the news of the attack on his land the King Aiglestar found it difficult to eat or drink or rest for unlike the five thousand warriors possessed by the King Dartsmall, King Aiglestar could only boast of a thousand Foot Soldiers, Thanes or Knights to be used in battle. For King Aiglestar had not got much population on his side and so he prayed that he did not lose any of his Knights or calvarymen in battle against the Land of Thickhill in East Paris.

King Dartsmall of Thickhill was so confident in himself and his Men that they would overpower the Land of Carmosa in battle. So he summoned all his Seers and Soothsayers to predict the outcome of the battle and without much fuss they promised him that the victory over the battle was theirs and that Dartsmall should not succumb to fear over the outcome of the battle that success was theirs. So King Dartsmall was overconfident about the outcome of the battle a battle which was the first of it's kind over the Land of Paris.

Suppose the News of the envisaged attack was positive then King Aiglestar had to efficaciously plan the walls of his Kingdom and Castle with his armed men awaiting the attack by the Land of Thickhill East of Paris. So King Aiglestar planned his attack over the Land of Thickhill for he didn't want to be taken by surprise and despised a reprisal attack. King Aiglestar decided to place five hundred of his Armed Men to guide the walls of the land diligently and the remaining five hundred Knights were equipped thoroughly for battle against Eastern Paris the Land of Thickhill.

King Aiglestar had in his Armoury lots of Swords, Armours, Helmets, Bows and Arrows and over a thousand well trained foot horses. So on the second day of the reception of the news of ventured attack, he took with him the remaining five hundred men each one of them armed to the tooth each on a gallant horse set out in the morning to the Land of Thickhill in a bid to offer a surprise visit launching out against King Dartsmall and his Men in order that their impending attack on the Land of Carmosa was foiled by the wise King Aiglestar.

The Queen Batistas was a very good Soldier who fought by the side of her husband King Aiglestar who during this battle worried about what would become of the fate of his little boy should his Mother decide to go to war with him and eventually suffered death in the hands of the people of Thickhill. So King Aiglestar adviced that his wife wait behind to care for their baby as he himself was only going to fight giving orders from behind and from the rear during battle so that he would not be slain where the battle was hottest.

At about a few distance from the Land of Thickhill in East Paris the King Aiglestar went with his horse riders stealthily that it took the people of Thickhill unawares of the impending attack. So the King Aiglestar drew too close and the people of Thickhill began scurrying and scrumping trying to go to safety while their soldiers tried to pick up arms but it was too late as King Aiglestar and his Men were no frigid in battle but were diligent and fierce as they began laying slay greatly against the Men and Soldiers of the Land of Thickhill.

The battle was less worrisome to the King Aiglestar of the Land of Carmosa as he launched over the King Dartsmall's abode in the Castle in the Land of Thickhill East Paris. As the people of Thickhill were taken by much surprise they began falling in their hundreds and later in their thousands as the King Dartsmall decided to flee for his life for more than four thousand of his Chariots and Calvarymen and about five thousand castles razed down by fire by the ravaging King Aiglestar.

As King Aiglestar made much slay of the people of Thickhill only sparing their Brides and Children, they sang their war songs and they were glad that they won the victory as King Dartsmall regretted plotting war against them as he had lost almost everything in the battle as King Aiglestar carted away all the gold, silver and precious materials and fabrics in large bags which they dispossessed of the Thickhill kingdom treasury. Children of the land of Thickhill were left with their Mothers as their Fathers were slain at war.

The war and battle raged against the land of Thickhill East of Paris and was a thorough one that lasted one whole day for the King Aiglestar and his Men had raided combing through the whole land and kingdom of Thickhill while the survivors ran into the woods in a bid to hiding for safety.

The King Aiglestar just as he prayed and wished for success at the battle did not lose any one of his five hundred Men in battle only that too much horse riding broke some of his Men's hips. So it was therefore Paramount that King Aiglestar and his Men rode back home to Carmosa in great joy in victory awaiting his people as he brought back with him much spoil. The five hundred Knights and Soldiers guiding the Land of Carmosa Castle Walls and his wife Queen Batistas and baby were all glad at the return of the King and his Men with much victory, singing and accolades. That night they made a great feast and in case of a reprisal attack by the lost King Dartsmall, King Aiglestar ordered the five hundred Men guarding the Castle Walls remain at their post for no one knew what fate held in stock for them as King Dartsmall might have had little strength and wished with his last strength to launch a reprisal attack to slay the King Aiglestar and his Men regardless of what number of Fighters or Soldiers he had left to recoup and attack for he had just five hundred Men left in his kingdom which was now five hundred Knights less that of King Aiglestar's Thousand Men. But the King Dartsmall had no courage for he knew that had he launched any reprisal attack he and his Men would fall by the sword for the gods were on King Aiglestar's side and so he had no strength to lay attack on the Land of Carmosa.
