20. Battle of three Cities.

King Aiglestar and Petrelli Knight were in good health and spirits rapporting well in the Carmosa Castle and three years after the Prince Petrelli Knight's Novel Journeys and peace pact and treaties there seemed to be a misunderstanding and famine and drought in the lands in the three Cities close to the City of Carmosa. There seemed to be a battle for the conquest of lands and cities in a bid to rule and steal goods and gold from the losing cities which was to be used in replenishing and restocking needed as captured from the rival cities involved in battle.

The first city, the Thickhill City was under pressure of imminent battle for the lands or cities were in drought and famine but only the Carmosa City was a bit buoyant for they had stocked goods in stores and warehouses foreseeing the dry days a preparation for the three years of drought. So the rival cities prepared to wager a battle against the Carmosa City to plunder and reap from their stores goods they needed and were lacking in their coffers.

Petrelli Knight advised his Father King Aiglestar that since Carmosa City was the subject City to plunder, they should waste no time and plunge out to fight their battle and besieging the rival cities for they had to take time by forelock and pay them an unexpected attack.

So Petrelli Knight and his Father King Aiglestar along with four hundred foot Soldiers or Knights embarked on their horses and chariots and journeyed towards their rival cities in a bid to conquer, slay and defeat them and also plunder their goods like King Aiglestar did in the war that waged in Eastern Paris.

On approaching the City of Thickhill, Petrelli Knight and his Father and other Knight began slaying all the inhabitants and knightly Men leaving only children and their mothers in survival left unslain. The King of Thickhill, the successor to King Dartsmall, King Tobill was taken by cruel surprise as he tried to escape. Petrelli Knight did most of the slaying as he battled by wearing his magical arms and weapons gifted to him by the Fairy Magician Jabbo who assured that Petrelli Knight would be secured and protected yielding immense victory once he remembered venturing out to eat with them for Petrelli Knight was the invisible Knight in the lot of the Carmosa Knights. King Tobill was astounded and felt bewildered as the Carmosa Knights fought back to back sliding their swords and clubs and arrows attacking with much rage and fury watching as his men fell to the swords of the visiting Warriors from the Carmosa City.

The next City to be besieged and lay carnaged was the Jadeland City. Petrelli Knight and his Father King Aiglestar and other Knights rode gallantly towards the Jadeland City which was a few yards away from the Thickhill City. The King of Jadeland City, King Terrence was very surprised and taken unaware of the Carmosa Army's visit and attack. There were much goods carted away by the Carmosa Knights from the Jadeland City including books, parchments of wisdom, gold and silver and foodstuffs and fruits of various varieties as the Carmosa Knights though lacking nothing still ventured to stealing and robbing of goods in large quantities including clothings which they tied and wrapped together and placed in their chariots.

The last or third City to attack which was already warming up for their attack as they perceived the slaying of men several yards away in the Jadeland City was the Moiseland City which was ruled by King Vegisto. Petrelli Knight the invisible Knight on the team put in extra effort in battle making the Carmosa Knights seem flawless and invincible. The Carmosa Knights were more than victorious in battle. Petrelli Knight made all the bend and swift slaying back and front on the battle field setting most of the houses damaged and destroyed leaving no stone unturned as the Carmosa King and Prince attacked fiercely with hard swift blows on the Knights of Moiseland City.

It was evening time and the Carmosa Knights having conquered all the lands of the three Cities hurriedly returned back to their land and city of Carmosa. It was getting dark as the sun was setting and the weather was getting cold but Petrelli Knight and folks raced home gallantly to his Mother and inhabitants of Carmosa City. On arriving home, a campfire was made and a huge feast hosted for the ever successful Knights of Paris with roast meat and wine devoured by the very competent Knights. And Petrelli Knight and his Father King Aiglestar were glad on their success.
