PROLOGUE

Adonis laid on the stone cold ground. The warm blood oozing out of his head became ice cold on the ground, freezing his own body. He smiled.

He tried but except for the tip of his fingers, nothing was moveable. Not anymore.

He tried calming his haggred breath.

His vision going blurry.

He just heard rushing footsteps towards him.

He heard nervous and angry voices.

"What is fuck?"

"This bitch, didn't she say this fucking bitch was gonna do as we say?"

"What if he finds out?"

"Is he dead?"

This man's voice was calmer than others.

He felt a sharp pain as the hands turned his head to both sides.

"Such a waste of this good looking face. Lady Isolde was correct. He'd be beautiful even as a corpse."

Suddenly the voice of the man grew dangerous.

"But how is he lying on the verse of becoming a corpse?"

"That, y-"

"Ahhhhhhhhh"

The sound of flesh falling into the ground.

"We ask for forgiveness. Please forgive us. Count was the one."

"Ha ha, I called you scums to give you some relief since I really liked your way of solving the Arnall House case but instead of eating your own meal, you aimed at my plate."

"Forgive us, please."

"Did you know how much I wanted to have him?"

His energyless hands were taken with much care as the person spoke,"Look at these, it's silk. Do you know what it means?"

Silence.

"DO YOU KNOW WHAT IT MEANS?"

"Please forgive us, please have mercy on us."

"It means I care for him, I didn't want to bruise his milklike skin. But you guys tried-"

"Please, Lord. We won't do that again. Please let us go. Please forgive us one last time. We'll make it up to the Lord. We'll do everything you say. Please have mercy on us."

Adonis was caressed in the face.

"I will do so but I'll have to give my dear a good end first."

He kissed Adonis's hair.

That kiss made every inch of Adonis body repel in disgust but maybe his time had come.

He was thrown into a big water body, sea he guessed.

All he had ever done was love, truly. Trust, completely. Obey, without any questions.

Just to be betrayed by that own person.

His sister, who he thought cared about him the most.

He cared about only her, ignoring warnings of everyone. He had faith in her.

Foolish, such a fool.

More than the anger for her, he regretted not treating others, who actually loved him well.

"God, please let me make it up to them. In another life."

He thought and let himself go.
