Liam and Norah were late for the dinner, her blond hair was still damp from the shower, she threw on white sabrina dress and a gladiator sandals.
All of their eyes bulged out when they saw her and Liam walked hand in hand.
"Uhmm guys, did I miss something here?" Clara asked.
Norah yanked his hand away, but the possessive man holding her hand tightly with pride on his face. He was the one who insisted that they walk together to the restaurant… and the reason why they were late!
Her part down there tingling from the reminder. She lost count how many times he made her orgasm under the trickling water, either with his hands or his… That full body tattoo only aroused her more.
She mewled, begged, pleaded for him to stop because she couldn't stand another mind-blowing orgasm, but he always stop when she was about to come. In the end, she begged him to continue.
Liam raised their hands together to the three people watching with confused face.
"Isn't it obvious? We are dating." He said to Clara, then his eyes turned to Xander and Noah.
Clara was the first to say. "I'm so happy for you guys!" Then she hugged Norah and whispered, "I don't know what happened between you and Liam, but I'll support you as long as you're happy."
"Thank you, Clara…" Norah smiled at her.
Liam pulled out a chair for Norah but before she took a seat, Noah said. "I want to speak with you."
"Hey, can't it wait after we have dinner?" Liam interjected.
"You!" Noah was about to punch the man when his sister held his arm. It was the first time, maybe the longest she'd ever touch him after the incident.
"It's okay Liam. I'll speak to my brother alone." She assured her boyfriend.
Boyfriend? Yes, Liam was the one who announced to everyone that they were dating.
They walked in silent to the beach. The night sky was illuminated by the light of the stars and the moon. Suddenly it took her back to the time when they were thrown out from the house, away from their drunkard father and cruel step-mother that only wished for their deaths.
"Do you remember the first night we were in the street?"
Noah stopped in his tracks, his hands in the pockets. "Yes, of course. You were just a small child at that time, you would never let my hand go…" He chuckled sadly.
Now all of his sister want to do was run as far away from him, repulsed by his touch, because he failed to protect his only sister in the world. His munchkin.
"I must had been an annoying little brat, I cried when we just got to eat one bread a day, to save what little money that wicked step-mother gave us."
"Uh huh.. And you cried when we had to sleep on the floor of an empty building, or the most convenient place to sleep was on the chair at the station."
Norah was a crybaby, she cried for every little things, but she had that fighting spirit like no other woman. She could pick herself up after failures.
"Oh yes, it was a cold night and you did your best to hug me." She smiled at the past.
"I'm afraid I couldn't protect you." He whispered, referring to the past and the current.
"I have the best brother I could ever ask for.. But I don't want you to constantly worrying about me, I'm not a small child anymore.. If I need your help, Noah, I'll ask for it."
There. The words that he dreaded to hear. His little sister didn't need him anymore. It was like his whole existence in this world had no meaning anymore.
He looked at her with longing. "Could I hug you before I depart?"
Norah frowned, they would depart home together so why Noah said it like he wanted to go somewhere alone.
"Xander send me off to handle his overseas company."
It was his punishment because he dared to get closer to Clara. She was off limit, he knew that but Noah ignored every caution. He had crossed the line and he must take the consequence.
Separated from Clara.
"Why the sudden change?" She wailed, there was so much to resolve between them. She thought that her brother would always be by her side but with a snap of a finger, he would go away.
"I've crossed the line, Norah. It's his punishment for me… Hell, I'm falling in love with Clara." He confessed to his sister.
Norah looked at him with sadness. Her brother who had no time thinking about woman, was finally falling in love with someone. But that someone was too impossible to have.
She was Xander's.
Her heart ached for her brother, so without thinking, Norah embraced him. It felt like years already passed since they were hugging each other.
"Thank you, Norah. I know it is hard for you to hug me.. Thank you.."
Did her brother sobbed? His voice was shaking, his arms circled her body tightly, not wanting to let go.
A tear escaped his eye, the little girl that he used to hug was not so little anymore. She had blossomed to be a young woman, so beautiful and strong, his baby sister.
"But you have to be next to me on my birthday." Norah pouted her lips when they let each other go.
Noah ruffled her hair softly, "Of course, Norah. How could I miss your nineteenth birthday."
"I will miss you, brother." She grinned at him.
"Not so sure.. Why would I miss a sister that already had a man to protect her?" Noah teased.
"Noah! You know no one could replace you, right? You're still my brother!"
Then his words sinking in her brain, he didn't verbally forbid her relationship with Liam! He didn't know how much Norah wanted his approval.
"Does that mean…" Her lips parted in anticipation.
"I know he was hiding somewhere in your room, right?" He teased her further then sighed, "As long as he could protect you and love you, I won't oppose. But maybe I should throw a punch to his face again for announcing your relationship in such way." He rolled his mucled arms with fisted hand.
Norah laughed. "No! Don't hurt him brother or you will suffer my silent treatment." She threatened.
Noah fake a scared face, "Ouch! Ok I was wrong. It is you who protect him… Come on, I'll return you to his side."
Norah punched his shoulder, "Idiot."
It was the best dinner she'd ever had for her entire life, not only the food was superb, but she was surrounded with people who protect and love her.
Not to mention, the romantic boyfriend seated beside her. He treated her like a delicate flower, poured her a drink, fed her a slice of meat and dabbed her mouth. She was a little embarrassed because he did it in front of them.
After dinner, they retreated to their rooms, Noah chose the bar and the pair chose the comfort of her room. They enjoyed a time together inside the hammock at the deck of the bungalow, overlooking the lagoon.
"What did you talk to your brother about?" He asked and toying with her blond hair.
Norah told him everything and how she had the courage to embraced her brother first. Her kidnapper's face crossed her mind, but she focused more to the safe arms that never hurt her. She was proud of herself, it was just a small step but she was sure, someday her brother would be able to call her 'munchkin' again.
"I'm so proud of you, honey." Liam kissed her forehead. "So he's not against our relationship?"
"Nope, as long as you protect me and love me of course… I'm officially yours!" With twinkling eyes, Norah kissed him on the mouth.
He didn't reply the kiss instantly, then with hesitation he pushed her head and kissed her deeply.
The woman in his arms just miss an important thing here. Liam never said he love her.
