FLASHBACK CONTINUED.... TWO MONTHS BEFORE ROSE WEN'S BIRTHDAY,

Imperial City in Edward mansion at midnight.

After understanding Butler Lee's intentions behind his white lie Louis turned to his family. Louis said , "Why haven't you all slept? Was there any need to wait for me at late night?".

Listening the nagging of Louis his mother Elona replied, " Of course there was a need".

His mother's reply made him confused thinking that what important thing was that his mother was talking about. Dumbfounded Louis asked, " What was the need mother?".

Elona came forward and hugged her son. Louis thought that his mother just wanted to hug him but suddenly louis felt a pain and shouted, "Ahhhh! aaaahhh". Elona had held Louis's ear in her hand tightly and started scolding him.

Elona scolded, " This brat not even calling his family for so many years. Of course there was a need of beating to be given to you. How dare you ignore your parents like they never existed?".

Louis tried to confront himself and said, " Mother weren't you all the one who wanted me to study abroad in M country?".

Elona still holding his ear tightly said, " We sent you to study there and come back again not for you to settle there and forget your family".

Louis still in pain replied, " Aahhhh..... aaaahhhh. I'm sorry mother. I'll never do it again. Now can you please release me. My ear's hurting very bad".

Even after apologizing to his mother, Elona still didn't leave him. When Louis realized that he was going to be trapped by his mother completely, he looked at his father sending him a signal to save him. Fredrick understood his son's eyes and went towards Elona.

Fredrick said, " Honey now stop it. He said he's sorry. Also he used to call his grandpa occasionally. He has just returned and must be tired. Let's talk about this next time. Okay?".

Louis saw his cold mother was melted by his father's warm words. She left Louis ear and warned him, "Dare to ignore us again and I'll get you married to any random girl without even asking about your opinion".

Louis replied, " I promise I wont do it again in my lifetime mother hence please do not bring up my marriage unless and until I propose it".

Hearing Louis's reply everyone laughed. After promising his mother Louis's eyes went on his little siblings. The cute boy who had a chubby face had grown up to a handsome teenager. His cute little sister who used to tie her hair in two ponytails now had grown up in a beautiful woman. After admiring his siblings Louis asked looking at everyone, "Where is my cute candy and my little birdie? I can't see them at all. Did they both forgot their brother."

Ray and Hailey came to Louis and hugged him. Ray with excitement in his eyes said, "Elder brother I missed you so much".

Louis looked at Hailey and asked, " Didn't you miss me cute candy?".

Hailey with a pure smile on her innocent face replied, " Of course elder brother Louis I missed you too".

Suddenly Hailey made a pout face and said, " But I am sad that brother Louis didn't recognize me at first".

Louis replied, " How would I recognize? When my cute candy sister has grown up in an elegant and beautiful woman". hearing her brother's reply Hailey smiled.

Louis went to his brother Alex and hugged him. They both didn't say anything and just smiled at each other. It was as if Alex knew about Louis's intentions. Then Louis turned towards his Uncle and Aunt. He hugged them both and said while looking at Aisha, " Aunt Aisha what have you been using recently for your skin?".

Confused by this sudden question from Louis Aisha asked, " Why do you ask dear?".

Louis looked at his Uncle and said, " Uncle Stephen do you mind me having a date with your wife? Well what can I say aunt, the more I look at you the more you seem beautiful to me. Now I understand how did my little sister got all these genes from".

Thinking that his wife was gonna get robbed from Louis, Stephen pretended to be frowned and replied, " This brat why do you want to steal my wife? Go and find your own wife and have a date with her".

Aisha chuckled seeing these two and said, " Honey it's fine. I only love you. Let him play more. After he gets married he won't say any of it".

Louis annoyingly said, " Why are you elders in a hurry to get me married? I just came back. Is this some kind of a new trick to harass us bachelors?". Everyone laughed except Alex and Louis himself.

Louis decided to change the topic as he didn't want the elders to again talk about his marriage. He went towards his grandpa and hugged him again. After hugging each other for a moment Louis said, " My dear grandpa you are handsome and young as always. I bet you that you are the most handsome man I've ever seen".

Mr. Edward replied, " Of course. Due to this handsome face of mine your grandma had accepted my marriage proposal even with my stubborn behavior".

Louis looked at his wristwatch and noticed the time. He looked at everyone and said , " It's really late. I think everyone must go to sleep. Let's chat tomorrow morning".

Everyone was sleepy now hence all went to their rooms and Louis accompanied his grandfather to send him to his room. After making sure that his grandpa slept Louis came upstairs but instead of going to his room he went towards Alex's room. He knocked the door and the reply came , "Come in".

When Louis entered the room he saw Alex talking to his secretary on phone and giving him some orders, Alex was standing near the balcony of his room and was talking while Louis preferred to wait for him to complete his conversation and waited patiently sitting on the couch which was just near his study. Alex's room had a master bed , his study table where he used to work , a couch just beside his study and a balcony which let the fresh air in. Alex's room was designed to have simple colors like white , grey and black. It was not too flashy. It was just as Alex preferred.

As Louis saw Alex finished his call he asked, " Why are you working so late? Are you that type of superior who loves to make his employees work day and night?".

Alex sat on the chair near his study and said, " I'm not an harsh superior who loves to harass his employees. Well its because of you that I've been working till late".

Louis asked , " What do you mean because of me? I wasn't even here".

Alex replied, " Mrs. Chairman and Mrs. Vice chairman ordered the President to finish all his work and take some days off on this weekend as Mr. CEO is returning back home".

Feeling bad for Alex Louis replied, " Sorry brother for leaving all this torture on you. I'll make sure to share half of your burden and let you be at ease".

Alex replied, " No need to share my burden just make that marriage thing leave from their minds. I'ts good that now you've returned hence they'll stop bothering me for a while. I was getting frustrated by it".

Louis said, " Please don't bring that marriage topic again. Well what about the thing I requested?".

Alex replied, " Hmm. Everything's been managed but I don't think they'll allow on this".

Louis assured, " I'ts just for 3 months anyway. I'll make them approve it".

Alex said, " Hmm. I was worried about it too and your suggestion is good hence try your best. I support your decision".

After talking to each other for a while Louis said good night to Alex and the went to his room.
