MR. EDWARD'S SMART GRANDSON ALEX.
FLASHBACK CONTINUED... TWO MONTHS BEFORE ROSE WEN'S BIRTHDAY,
Imperial city in Edward mansion at morning.
Everyone went to the dining hall and sat on the breakfast table. Everyone's places were already fixed. The breakfast went calm and peaceful. When Louis was finished he announced, " I want to have a word with all of you".
Hearing Louis everyone went to the hall except Ray and Hailey as they knew that these elder people were going to discuss about something serious. This time Louis was serious which made everyone uneasy about this sudden talk. Mr. Edward said, " What is it Louis that you want to talk about?".
Louis replied, " Grandpa I have to make an request. I wish to work in the LY corporations as an employee but not as an CEO".
Fredrick said, " Louis why do you want to be an mere employee when you are already the CEO of our corporations?".
Stephen said, " Brother is right. Is there any valid reason behind this request of yours?".
Louis replied calmly, " Father I haven't worked in our family business till now. All the time I was the CEO of our branch company in M country due to which I may not have enough information about our real corporations hence I wish to work as an employee so that I can learn more. I even wish to know my employees well so that in future I can handle this corporation well".
Stephen said, " You can understand your employees and learn about our company being a CEO too".
Louis understood Stephen's concern and replied, " Uncle I do not only wish to know my employees but to learn the secrets too. I want to find out the things which are not reported to us superiors. It's the same as a king going in a disguise to have a look at his nation's people".
Fredrick asked, " What do you think about it Alex?".
Alex replied positively, " I think Uncle, Louis is right. As we all have already revealed our personas in the business hence everyone knows us. But Louis is different. As Louis used to live in abroad hence no one knows who Louis Edward is. All they know that he is the CEO but no one has ever seen him. Like Louis said this is a great chance for us to learn internal matters which are not reported to the superiors and I think his suggestion is good. We can also learn about the needs of our employees and in what environment do they work".
Fredrick asked, " Even if we agree to your request then who will handle the LY corporations' CEO position?".
Louis replied looking at Alex, " Father till now Alex was successfully handling the corporations without my help. Won't he continue doing it for 3 months at least?".
Stephen asked, " Are you saying that you will complete this missions in next three months?".
Louis replied, " Yes Uncle Stephen and I believe Alex won't mind to take some work burden for me for atleast 3 months. Is it alright with you brother?".
Alex replied, " Of course. I don't mind working till late for a few more days. It's my responsibility as being a president".
Mr. Edward who was silent during this whole conversation finally said something. Mr. Edward asked, " Then where do you plan to live Louis?".
Everyone was shocked by this sudden question from Mr. Edward and didn't know why did this old man asked such an absurd question. Elona said, " Father this is Louis's house hence shouldn't he be living here?".
Fredrick asked, " Father why are you asking a question like this? Of course he will live in Edward mansion". Fredrick had lost his patience. Firstly his son put up an strange request and now his father was asking such unbelievable question.
Aisha asked, " Do you not like your room Louis? Should we change it?".
Stephen asked, " Are you uncomfortable here? Is there any problem? You can tell us about it child".
Seeing everyone panicked by Mr. Edward's sudden question Louis replied, " There's nothing wrong. I really love everything and like to live with you all".
Fredrick asked, " Then whats the problem? Father what do you mean by where is Louis planning to live?".
Mr. Edward replied, " These dumb children of mine don't know anything. My smart grandson Alex can you please explain on my behalf?".
Alex nodded and replied answering everyone's curiosity, " Louis will be working as an mere employee. If someone finds out that Louis lives in Edward mansion and the rumors occur then our cover may be off. Hence to not seem suspicious Louis must live the life of an employee".
Mr. Edward praised Alex, " My grandsons never disappoints me. So where do you plan to live child?".
Louis replied, " Everything's arranged by Alex grandpa".
Elona who was sad by thinking that her dear son would leave again said, " Louis you just came back and again you're planning to leave us?".
Louis assured Elona, " Mother I'm not going forever. Its just 3 months. And I'm not going to start work right away. I'll be working from next week hence till then I'll be spending time with all of you".
Stephen asked, " Louis won't you need a fake identity too? You cannot enter the company as an employee with your real self".
Alex replied, " I have managed it father. Louis will not seem suspicious at all regarding his identity".
Mr. Edward said, " Fine then. Louis I'll accept your request and we'll go with Alex's plan".
Louis hugging Mr. Edward replied, " Thankyou grandpa. I'll try my best".
Mr. Edward replied, " I know you won't disappoint me".
Louis stood up from the couch and said, " I need to go".
Mr. Edward asked, " Where are you going child? Is it important?".
Louis replied, " Of course it's important grandpa".
Mr. Edward was sad. He wanted to spend time his with whole family but if Louis is not there then how can the family be complete?
Louis looked at Mr. Edward who looked sad and asked, " What happened grandpa? Do you not want me to leave?".
Mr. Edward assured himself and said, " Its fine child you can continue with your important work".
Louis sat down on the couch again and said, " It's okay grandpa. If you don't want me to leave then I won't. Anyway fishing is not important than our grandpa. It's fine we'll just sit at home and spend time together".
Mr. Edward who was sad a moment ago were stunned. When he realized what Louis said he thought, ' So the important work he was talking about was going fishing'.
Mr. Edward replied, " You little brat. Trying to play tricks on your grandpa. Who said we are staying at home? Elona and Aisha we all will be going to our villa near riverside in Garden City. We will spend our weekend there".
Elona and Aisha who were happy by the old man's decisions went to start preparations for leaving. They both wished for their family to come together and spend some quality time .
After instructing his daughter in laws Mr. Edward said to Alex and Louis, " You both are going fishing with me. Do you both have any problem?".
Alex and Louis at the same time replied," No grandpa". They knew that Mr. Edward's orders were like a royal decree hence we can't just ignore him. But Alex and Louis both loved their grandpa and wished to accompany him in whatever he loves to do.
Louis replied, " Nothing is more important than our grandpa".
Hearing Louis's reply Mr. Edward looked at Stephen and Fredrick as he scoffed, " Look at these two grandsons of mine. They never say no to me and are willing to accompany me for fishing while you both never even acknowledge your father's hobbies. You both are my sons but are useless".
Fredrick and Stephen both sighed as they knew it was so boring to go fishing with this old man. Which was always an untold truth. Elona and Aisha started preparing for the leave. Ray and Hailey got excited after hearing about their weekend vacation. Alex and Louis both went to their rooms to pack their stuff and get ready. Mr. Edward was very excited with the thought of going fishing with his grandsons. Soon everyone was ready to leave for their vocational weekend.

I wrote this chapter in the noon but feel asleep without even saving it. soon battery of my laptop went low and it shut down. I had to write this whole chapter again. sometimes I can really be clumsy.
