WAIT HERE LIKE AN OBEDIENT WIFE.
Imperial City at Trust Hospital entrance in morning,
Today Louis dropped Seren in his car as her car was still at the parking lot of the Health Center. Kevin as always was waiting for his boss at the entrance with her favorite cup of cold milk coffee. As he was waiting, he had already seen that Louis was the one who dropped Seren.

In the car,
Louis and Seren were already at the front of hospital. Seren just got out from the car as she said nothing to Louis. Again Louis was left alone just like that.
Louis only looked at her back as he saw her reaching the entrance and going in with Kevin. He started his car and was driving to his way towards LY Corporation but his mind was somewhere else.
He thought, ' She rarely talks with me. Is her personality of quite type? But I have seen her with Kevin. She seems close to him. She only opens her mouth when I ask her something otherwise whole day she is busy in her work. Guess I must talk to her more so that she can open up. If we don't talk to each other except special occasions then we may just get caught immediately by grandpa and other elders'.

At the Trust Hospital entrance,
Seren saw Kevin at the entrance as always. He greeted her, " Good morning boss" as he passed her coffee.
Seren accepted the coffee as she said, " About the files , just ask someone to deliver it to my office. It will be quite troublesome for you to go back and bring it to the hospital".
Kevin said as he was walking towards the elevator with Seren, " I can't let any outsider carry those medical files. What if someone steals it or makes it dirty? I'll just bring them by myself. It even has my thesis in it for which I studied day and night".
Seren replied, " Do as you wish. Just don't whine again that its heavy and bothersome to carry all those by yourself".
Kevin asked, " Boss what do you take me as? I'm still 23, young and strong enough. Those files are like just a piece of cake for me".
As they both got into the elevator Seren asked, " Don't you have anything to say?".
Kevin replied, " I will bring those medical files by the lunch time and will safely keep in Boss's office".
Seren said as she sipped her coffee, " Do you really wish to pretend to know nothing?".
Kevin understood that Seren had seen through him already. He knew that no one can win against this woman. He replied as he was already lost, " I respect boss's decision. If you decided to marry Aiden so I'm sure there must be your reason behind it. Besides I think he is a nice man hence there's nothing to worry about cause I've seen him take care of you. No matter what I'll follow your decision Seren. In fact I'm happy that you decided to give a chance to yourself and got married though it was a little quick but I am relieved as I know what kind of man Aiden is".
The elevator door opened to the cardiology department floor as Seren said, " I am not giving a chance to anybody and I still support singularity life. This marriage means nothing to me. Anyway I'll get divorced in two years soon".
Kevin followed Seren as he commented, " Let's see if you divorce or not. Well who knows when you'll fall in love".
Seren left Kevin as she went towards her office. As always the receptionists , nurses and other junior doctors greeted her but Seren as usual didn't answer back to anyone.
Soon a week passed by and in that time nothing much special happened. As always Seren would come home at night after her shift was over. She would make dinner and then she and Louis would sleep together in the bedroom. At first it was a little hard for Louis himself who proudly suggested the sleeping thing but now he was getting used to it. In fact he felt that he himself slept peacefully when he was with Seren. Seren as usual didn't interact with him much and just used to reply if he asked anything.

Imperial City in Newly Wed's apartment at midnight,
Seren and Louis were sleeping in the bedroom peacefully. At 2:00 am Seren's phone rang. Seren opened her eyes as she heard her phone ringing. It was Kevin that called late night. She picked up the call as she sat on the bed, " Is there an emergency?".
Kevin replied, " It is and it is not".
Seren said, " Kevin I don't have time for your stupid play of words. Say it direct and clear".
Kevin on the other line replied, " It is not an medical emergency or surgery but the director was calling for you. He messaged you but guess he wasn't able to reach you so he asked me to call you and let you know".
Seren asked as she checked the time, " Why does the director need me at this time? Is it a meeting?".
Kevin replied, " Hmm. It seems so. He also called Chief and Dr. Caleb Corden. Seems like its something serious. You should come quick boss. Caleb is here at the hospital because he had his night shift today so only you and Chief are left to come".
Seren said as she rubbed her sleepy eyes, " Hmm. I'll be there soon".
Seren walked towards the dressing table and lit up a small lamp. She opened her closet and removed clothes to wear. Due to the light flashing on the face Louis woke up. He saw Seren rummaging through her closet and going to the washroom to change. He sat up on the bed.
When Seren came out of the bathroom Louis asked, " Are you going somewhere?".
Seren tying her hair in a ponytail while looking at the mirror replied, " Hmm. There seems to be an emergency in the hospital".
Louis asked, " It's midnight. At this late hour? Don't go alone. I'll drop you there".
Seren replied, " No need. I'll drive my car. Also I don't have any idea how much time it will take".
Louis who already got out of the bed said, " Wait for me here. I'll come back in a moment after I change clothes. I'll just stay in the car and wait for you. Let me come with you so that I can be at peace".
Seren replied, " It's nothing new. There's no need to trouble yourself. It's normal for me having emergency at night".
Louis moved closer and patted her head as he said, " Wifey sometimes you should listen to your caring husband. Wait here like an obedient wife. I'll be back in a moment".
Louis took his clothes from the closet and went to the washroom to change. The left behind Seren was flustered by Louis's action right now. She touched her head as she thought, ' Is this quack really gone mad? Am I kid to pat my head? In fact I am 2 years older than him. Caring husband? My ass. Is he so bad at acting that he always insists on practicing pretending a married couple. Wait..... was he pretending right now? I guess he was practicing being a good husband. That must be it'.
