Chapter 18 ( escape )

I sigh in relief at the same time wondered who the big boss was. I walled up to the bed and sat down " big boss " I whispered to myself " that means he's the one in charge, that makes more sense because if you come to think of it how did the French know Bengland had gold in this exact place, someone from Bengland most has told them or maybe someone from bengland is the big boss " I whispered all these too myself and stood up " I have to find out who " then it hit me that I also had to find Rowan and Eric " oh shit " running my fingers through my hair out of frustration " whoever I can find first " I made my way towards the exit, the moment I open the tent and step out I felt something sharp and cold on my neck and I instantly froze, my eyes travelled down only tor me to see that it was a sword. Lifting my head to see the person holding the sword, he had an unfriendly face, huge and well built and I could see in his eyes that he was ready to take the life out of me if I move an inch " oh lord " I sad as low as possible, I could hardly even hear my self

" you are not allowed to leave without permission "

" mmmm, " thinking of how to get out of the situation " I do know that, " I said and he raised an eyebrow at my words

" then why have you come out "

" I actually came out hoping to find someone and lucky for me I found you " he gave me a very confused look " I am hungry, I haven't eaten all day " it was a lie at the same tile, not a lie because I was really hungry and haven't eaten all-day

" and what should I do about that " I gave a surprised look

" excuse me you are asking me that question " I rolled my eyes " you are to get me something to eat, the boss said I should make myself comfortable and I am not sure he will be happy to hear that his woman was not treated well " he instantly frowned. My eyes fell on the sword " how about you get me something to eat so your boss won't get upset " I said at the same time moving the sword away with my fingers " ok " I smiled and went back inside, immediately I entered I took a dip breath in and out " oh thank goodness" I suddenly heard him calling out to someone.

Sitting on the bed thinking of my next move suddenly a lady walked in, she had messy blonde hair and dark brown eyes, I instantly stood up and I noticed that I was taller than her, she held a tray of food and drink and I suddenly found myself smiling at her " hello " I greeted and she smiled in response, walked to the table beside the room and place it on the table and without a word she left. I made my way to the table and swallowed hard as my eyes explored the food " chicken" I whispered as my eyes fell on the plate of whole chicken, I was about to sit down then I remember that I had a mission " oh fuck "I threw my hands in the air, my eyes fell on the knife on the tray and I smiled as an idea hit me. I pick up the knife and walked to the other side of the tent but I could not resist the chicken, I ran back and pull out the lap of the chicken and went back to the other side of the tent, using my mouth to hold the chicken I use the knife to cut create a small hole as I piped through the tent to see if it was safe, it was the back of the tent and nothing was in view, immediately I cut it wide enough so I could go through.

The moment I stepped out of the tent the cold breeze hit my skin making me shiver a little as I also realise how dark it was " well this won't be hard " as I dissolved the chicken I tiptoed past several tents trying to avoid getting caught by guards, it seems like they were in a hurry to do something " they can lead me to the big boss " I followed gently on till I got to what I was looking for. A tent was surrounded by outlets shoulders I had no idea if they were guarding it or not.

I made my way to the back of the tent, created a small hole with the knife and piped. A man was sitting in the boss seat I guess that will be the big boss because the boss and other men around him stood with respect towards him. I could not see his face but I know he wasn't French at all. and his voice was familiar, very familiar. Listening to their conversation.

" if it's him then we have to get rid of him immediately," the big boss said

" But sir, I don't think it's a good idea to mess with the prince of Bengland. You know the history of Bengland and stories told, they are powerful"

" Have you forgotten my aim in this whole thing, you get your gold and I get rid of Rowan, and now he just made things easier by coming here " I try to put together what he just said, how can getting gold get rid of Rowan but it made no sense, I look behind me to see if I was still safe by my attention was drawn to something important. Rowan and Eric were tied to a tree unconscious " holy shit " I run towards them and fell on my knees when I got to them " Rowan! Eric! " I whispered loudly taping their face but they didn't move " Eric, Rowan " I called again but they still didn't move, I bit my lower lips as I look at Rowan " forgive me your Highness" I raised am had am it landed on his face and the sound of pain filled the air immediately I covered his mouth so no one will hear us. I so the shock in his eyes to see me

" Nat..." Immediately I covered his mouth

" lower your voice " I whispered to him and watch him study his environment

" Eric " he called, Eric instantly woke up like magic and I gave a surprised look wondering how that just happened

" sir " he replied fully awake

" wake up we need to get out of here " Eric studied his environment and nodded

" yeah " I cut the rope with the knife and they quickly removed it and stood up. I saw Rowan in pain as he stood up and my eyes fell on his cut

" holy shit " my voice was loud, I was taken aback by the view before me, Rowan had lost a hell of a lot of blood I can't even believe that he could stand " you are still bleeding "

" I noticed," he said in a low voice and tried taking a step and almost fell but Eric and I quickly reach for his helping him stand " am fine," he said and I rolled my eyes at his words

" No you are not, Now let go," I said and walked into the forest fast but gently not to get Rowan more hurt, trying to get far away from the camp. We haven't walked for long when we had a loud voice say

" find them, and the girl I want her life " the voice heard authority in it

" oh fuck " I said and almost went crazy when Rowan corrected

" well just so you know we are so fucked and this is not the time to correct my language " I yelled as our speed increased. We had to get out of here, fast, I can't let Rowan die, not when he is the pillar that holds Bengland
