Finally Back Home (Part 1)

My parents are coming home today and it's been almost 2 weeks since Karina was discharged from the hospital.

I can't believe how the past two months challenged me to become this version of myself. It was all because I believed in myself and the people around me who willingly helped me.

It's 10 in the morning and I need to prepare for their welcome home dinner tonight. I had been planning since last week despite the hectic times I went through.

David and Karina have been very helpful with planning since I'm hosting the dinner. David's parents and Karina's Mom have been very helpful too with all the preparations.

I went to my closet and chose a navy blue sweater, white jeans, and my favorite black sneakers. I better get going if I want everything done before dinner.

On my way out, I receive a call from David.

"Good Morning Love"! He said

"Good Morning! Where are you going today"?

"Well, I'm heading to the mall to chill and maybe get some stuff. How about you"? He said
