Babysitting the Owner's Twins
As soon as she ended her shift, Blaire took a tryke to go to the apartment. Ginny rolled her eyes when she opened the door for Blaire.
“You’re late, bitch.”
“I’m sorry. Have you eaten?”
Ginny rolled her eyes. “I’m not your kid. I had my dinner. Leftover food’s at the table.”
“Thank you. I’ll just pack the food after I pack some of my things.”
Ginny flashed a confused face. “Why?”
“I accidentally bumped into Mr. Sebastian while I was cleaning his room. He wanted me to be his housekeeper staff during his stay for 3 days. I’m going to stay at the inn for 3 days.” Blaire sighed after speaking, making Ginny laugh.
“At least I could study in peace while you’re gone. Go, pack your things. Because I’m in a good mood today, I’ll pack the food for you.”
Ginny couldn’t help but giggle while packing Blaire’s food as the latter packs her things. She’ll have the unit for herself for 3 days! No bitch and she could do whatever she wants! What fun and exciting days will it be!
As soon as she finished packing the food, Blaire came out of her room a minute later and Ginny gladly gave her the packed food. She sent Blaire off and upon returning to the living room, she skipped happily and decided to make a detour towards the kitchen to grab some snacks in her pantry.
When she arrived at the inn, Margaret showed the room that’s supposed to be where Blaire would stay for 3 days. Her room is located on the uppermost floor, and they used the exclusive elevator which is directly connected from the lobby of the ground floor to the 9th floor, which is the unit intended for Kendra’s family.
“Since the client is just below this floor, you won’t be needing to take the longer route which is to take this elevator and go to the ground floor before taking the elevator for staff to proceed to your assigned room. Just use the stairs at the fire exit since it’s just one floor away,” Margaret said, making Blaire nod in agreement.
“This will be your temporary room. This served as my room before, but since I have a place to live in now, this room is now empty. But don’t worry, it has a complete set of appliances so you’d be able to cook your own food if you like. The door at the opposite end of this hallway belongs to Miss Kendra and her family. If the kids learn that someone is staying in this room, they will come visit you here every night,” she added.
“Now put your things here. This is the room’s key.”
“Thank you, Miss Margaret”
As soon as Margaret left, Blaire started unpacking her things and put them in their corresponding places. She then changed into her pajamas after having her night bath. She was opening the food that Ginny packed when she heard a loud thud outside the room. She rushed to see the cause of it and when she’s about to open the door, a knock was heard.
“H-Hi”
She looked down to the source of the voice she just heard and saw a little girl hugging a teddy while wearing her unicorn onesie.
“Hi there, little girl,” Blaire responded and bent to level herself at the height of the child. “Were you the one who caused a loud thud a while ago?” she asked.
The child nodded then smiled. “I’m Emma, you?”
“I’m Blaire. How are you, Emma? Are you hurt?”
Emma shook her head. “Let’s play!” she answered, instead.
“But you know it’s already nighttime. You should be preparing to sleep so you’d continue to grow more”
“But mama not here yet!”
“Where is Miss Kendra?”
“Bathroom!”
Just as she was about to answer the kid, Blaire was being pulled into her room.
“Your room nice, but empty,” Emma said, while putting her free hand under her chin.
“It’s because I won’t stay here for too long, so I don’t need much things, you know”
Emma pouted and looked at Blaire with a sad face.
“You will leave?”
“Yes, but not now, I will leave after three-“
“Emma! You’re here!”
Blaire was cut off when another child entered the room. He then snatched the hand of Emma who was holding Blaire and forced her to return to their unit.
“No! Emma want Blaire! We play!!!”
Emma shouted with her might, while punching the hand of the kid that’s holding her.
“Hey, Emma, you’re hurting him,” Blaire calmly said. She then faced the kid who suddenly entered the room. “It’s okay, I’ll play with her for a little while,” she said. The kid then let go of Emma’s hand but did not return to their unit. “I’ll stay.” He said.
Emma played the role of doctor, tea server, veterinarian, and policewoman while Blaire and the other kid named Josh became the patients, customers, injured animals, and culprits together with the teddy bear. The two kids were in the middle of jumping and squeaking when Kendra knocked on Blaire’s door, looking for her twins.
“Sorry, you were disturbed on your first night immediately,” Kendra said, but Blaire didn’t see it as a disturbance, but rather, an opportunity for distracting herself from stress.
“Come on, Josh, Emma, let your Aunt Blaire rest, she has a work tomorrow.”
“Mama, Emma sleep here!” Emma joyfully said. Kendra did not allow her that’s why Emma suddenly threw her tantrums. Josh then followed because he also wanted to sleep with Emma and Blaire. Kendra was scolding the twins when she said “I will not allow you to sleep with Aunt Blaire because she wakes up early. You won’t find her in the room if you wake up later.”
Josh answered. “But mama we want sleep with Aunt Blaire!”
Kendra sighed. “How about let Aunt Blaire go with you in your room and she’ll accompany both of you to sleep?”
The twins stopped crying and rejoiced. They then held each of Blaire’s hands and forced her to come with them in their unit.
“I will just return to my room after the twins sleep, Miss Kendra,” she shyly said.
“No, it’s okay, you can sleep with them. Besides, they’ve never been so hyped up like this ever since Marge left that unit and my three elder kids went to college.”
After hours of playing with the twins, Blaire decided to go back to her unit. Before the kids go to sleep, they pleaded Blaire to play with them again tomorrow to which she did not hesitate to agree. She was about to knock on Kendra’s door when she faintly heard some moaning of a man and a woman. Her eyes widen that she covered her mouth to prevent herself from gasping loudly.
‘Too busy,’ she said to herself. She then decided not to disturbed Kendra and her husband so she made her way back to her unit as quiet as possible.
While heating the food that she was about to eat hours ago, she first cleaned room and prepared the table.
Eating quietly at peace, Blaire felt the exhaustion because if today’s turning events.
