“You should join us, Blaire. We’re planning to have fun this weekend,” Lian said. Blaire was currently arranging her things as she ends her shift when Lian suddenly blurted out those words.
“Can’t,” she replied.
“Why?” he asked while glancing at her with a curious look. Blaire didn’t mind him even though she’s seeing his reaction on her peripherals.
“I have plans this weekend. Besides, I’m going to take a leave for a few days.”
Lian gasped. “A few days?! Aren’t you going to miss me?” he dramatically asked.
Blaire smirked. “What are you talking about? Maybe you’re the one who’s going to miss me,” she said.
He groaned as soon as she finished.
“Why do you have to tell me that? You know that you’re the only one who I can talk to,” he said.
She smiled and looked at him for a while before continuing with her work. Lian stomped his feet in anger as he saw that Blaire’s neither changing her mind nor responding to him.
