The duel began and obviously Dave had the upper hand. But even at that Danny wasn't ready to lose or give up as of yet, so he maintained his ground and fought back his junior brother;

Dave: Just give up bro, you can't win this

Danny: My aim isn't to win but to reason with you. I don't want to fight you Dave

Dave: More like you can't fight me because I am obviously stronger

Danny: Maybe you are; I don't really care about that. Please stop this and let's talk

Dave: No can do brother, the duel isn't over yet

After saying this Dave threw his sword up which caught Danny's attention and before anyone could realize what was happening, Danny was tackled by Dave making Danny to drop his sword close to Dave. Dave then picked the sword up and pointed it at Danny's chest;
