Take Over

Bailey's POV

I walked through the hall, and everyone cleared a path way away from me. They were scared of me. What I done was scary, but it's what I could do that should scared them. I knew this and Dixey did to.

Let's have some fun.

What kind of fun?

Let's trick them. Scare them a little more to show them who's boss.

Please don't.

I started to walk to the right a bit more, then ran up to a group of girls cuddled against their so called "true loves", and stopped before I hit the lockers. They screamed, and I laughed. I could hear Dixey laugh, but I could tell she wasn't happy that she was doing it. I was happy to, Dixey was a little happier, and nothing could bring us down. Until she came.

"Hey, Dixey," greeted Shooting Star. Her face was still bruised but nothing else seemed to be wrong.

"Dixey's not here right now," I said. We were walking down the stairs now to the 6th grade hallway. I tried to lose her, but she stayed right by my side the whole time.

"Hello..... Bailey," Shooting Star said. She wasn't one of my biggest fans. More like my worst enemy, but she sticks around for Dixey.

There was silence now, and we finally got to the door to the principals office without saying a word to each other. I wanted to say something to her, but I didn't know what, so I reached for the door handle.

"Wait," Shooting star said. She grabbed my wrist before I touched the door. I looked at her, with a confusing yet curious look.

"Why did you save me?"

"Because even if we don't get along, you're still Dixey's friend, and if she lost you, nothing would be the same. Plus, I couldn't take anymore of him being...him!" I said, and ran into the room before she could reply.

Amanda's POV

I look at the door astounded. If I read between the lines correctly, then she just said that..... no it couldn't be. She couldn't have saved me because she cared about my safety, if anything she puts my life in danger. I walked away from the door and looked for Shyla and Andrew. When I felt a tap on my shoulder, I knew what was coming next. I bent down and Shyla jumped on my back.

"TO NARNIA!" we shout together and started to run around. This was something we do when we go find Dixey or Andrew. Then I spotted him.

"Andrew!" I shout. He turns around, and runs to us, as I set Shyla down.

"There's more rumors," he said.

The happiness drained from our faces when we hear this. Rumors are the number one thing that this school can do.

"This time, everyone thinks that Dixey is never coming back," Andrew told us.

We were in awe. How can anybody say that? There have been rumors about relationships, fights, even friendships, but they were all small.

"I know that Bailey beat up Gideon and everything, but she's coming back.... right?" Shyla said. Her face and voice showed worry, concern, and scared at the same time.

I knew that it wasn't Dixeys falt, she would never want to do that willingly. We start to head for the door to go outside to the park. I could tell that we were all thinking the same thing, but I wanted to make sure.

"Are we going to wait for Dixey?" I say.

"As long as she's still in control," replied Shyla.

"I hope she is, I think she's going to need more support than ever after this," Andrew added.

"Me to," I sighed, "Me to."

Bailey's POV

I walk throughout the room, still waiting for the principal to enter. I look at the clock, 2:58. I missed the bus.

Great, now we're going to have to tell mom and dad what we did.

Don't worry, I'll take the blame for that as well.

Are you sure your felling well, Bailey? You seem to be taking a lot on your own today. Don't tell me that you want to fully take over!

Not in a life time Dixey. I just think it's time that I start taking responsibility for my actions, rather than someone else doing it for me. You've been taking the blame ever since we've met, so now I'm returning the favor.

Thanks again for being there for me. Sometimes my friends wouldn't know how to handle things.

"Sit," ordered principal Winchester. I didn't realize he had come in, so I jumped.

Dang it!

Jumping always shows weakness, and Mr. Winchester knew this. He went to his desk and looked at the file on it. The look of horror was on his face as I sat down, it was hilarious! He looked up at me, then back to the file, then to me again. He set down the file, and clear his throat.

"It looks to me that you have some anger issues, Dixey," Mr. Winchester said.

"Ya think?!" I snapped back. I bypassed that he called me Dixey, he doesn't know who I am.

"This only gives me somewhat of the information, so let's look at the cameras shall we," Stated Mr. Winchester.

He turned to the TV in the corner of the room. As he walked, I notice that he has a tape in his hand. I smiled at the thought of what would be on the tape.

He put the tape in and started it. It played Amanda being punched and throne around by Gideon, and saying all the blame he's putting on her. Then I see me coming in, running over to Shooting Star. I saw me being hit in the head, and standing up slowly.

Know wonder why you snapped, I realized that something hit us, but I didn't know what or who did it.

Next, the tape showed me on top of Gideon, punching him in the face and shoulder on some accessions. Mr. Winchester just stared in awe of what I did. The tape paused when I lifted his head by his hair. He turned to me, and stated something that I expected most definitely.

Andrew's POV

We all sat there in silents most of the time. I looked at my watch, 3:27.

"I'm bored, let's talk about something other than the Dixey problem," Shyla stated.

"What else are we suppose to talk about, the murders?" Amanda said.

"I can't believe the way people are reacting to them. Gideon beating up someone, some people shutting down completely, I know it's hard but seriously?" I replied.

"The only person who seems to be unaffected by this is Dixey. I hate to bring up her name like this, but it's true," Shyla said. Sorrow went over Amanda and Shyla's faces.

"You know what, let's help. I want answers right hear and now. Let's take matters into are own hands and research the murders," I said, more demanding then asking.

"You think we could do that?" asked Amanda. Curiosity crept onto her face, and she smiled.

"That sounds like a great idea, and with 4 heads, this would be even greater! Dixey will spend more time with us and the town will worship us for solving the case," Shyla's eyes sparkled with excitement.

"Ok, so are we all in agreement?" I asked. I put my hand in the middle of us and we all came joined hands.

"Murder mystery on three. One," I said.

"Two," said Shyla.

"Three," said Amanda.

"Murder mystery!" We all yell.

I looked at the door to the school and saw Dixey sitting on the steps.

"I found Dixey," I said.

We all look over and see her crying, she looked like someone just died in front her. We all look at each other, and rush to her side.

"Which one is in control?" asked Amanda.

"The one you like, Amanda," said Dixey.

"Dixey, you're back!" exclaimed Amanda.

Dixey only stared at the ground while Amanda and Shyla bombarded her with questions. I could tell that she wasn't with us fully, only somewhat. Every time Amanda or Shyla asked a question, Dixey would sink into the stairs a little more, but not a lot that either one of them would notice.

"Dixey, whats wrong?" I asked in a calming voice. Amanda and Shyla's voices were over lapping each others now, and their voices were stern and frightening, which probably didn't help Dixey at all.

Dixey ignored Amanda and Shyla and looked straight at me. I saw her mouth move and read 'suspended, one week' her eyes were starting to tear up more now.

She ran away, leaving us behind.

Dixey's POV

I ran and ran, until my friends voices screaming my name faded into the darkness. I slowed to a walk for now until my friends voices came again. I turned around and looked at the sleepy town of Jonesville. Everyone was off from school, ready to go back on Monday after the long weekend to come.

Why did you run away? Our friends were only trying to help us.

Like you said before, I don't trust them, so just drop it ok.

I'm sorry.

What the fudge sickle is wrong with you! You've NEVER apologized to me before. If this is about you know what, then I'm never speaking to you again. I'm the one who did it, so stop feeling sorry for me.

I don't want you to stop speaking to me, but I would never lie to you. So yes, that's the reason. After that day, I just wanted you to be happy again. Then came you know what, and I can't help but feel like it's my fault.

But it's not Bailey. I was the one who was friends with them, and I'm the one who did it. This doesn't mean that your completely out of the problem though.

I know. I just don't want you to be unhappy.

Thanks, but I'm not unhappy when I'm with you. Most of the time.

I heard her laugh, which made me feel better, then something tackled me to the ground.

Amanda's POV

I spotted Dixey, and ran to her. Hundreds of thoughts were going through my mind. Why did she run away? Why didn't she answer our questions? What was she hiding from us? As I got closer, she seemed to be arguing with herself.

Typical Bailey, always making fights with Dixey, I thought.

When I got close enough, I jumped on her back and made sure she didn't leave from my grip.

"Let go of me you little-," but Dixey stopped after that, realizing who it was, "Please get off me, Amanda, I don't want to talk to you," anger plastered all over her face.

I got off of her and backed away to join Andrew and Shyla. When Dixey got up, she looked like she was listening to something.

"Just shut up for a moment and let me explain it to them," said Dixey.

She wasn't talking to us though, and she seem to be getting very annoyed. She then listened more, to whom I presumed to be Bailey, and chuckled. She then turned to face us, her smile no longer showing on her face.

"Why did you follow me?" Dixey asked flatly.

"Because we're your friends and we want to know what's going on," Shyla answered. She as well seemed very annoyed.

"You want to know what's going on?! I'm getting suspended for an entire week! You want to know why I'm mad? Because my life has been falling apart ever since that day when-" Dixey stopped short, her face grew dark.

"Calm down Dixey, you need to breath," I had an awful feeling that Bailey was in control again, "we need to go home before things get too out of hand."

She then glares at us, and walks away. Her figures were intertwined, and I herd her whisper.

"I'll take good care of us till you feel better."
