Chapter Twenty One

Ear-piercing noise broke her raw dormancy sleep. She stirred with a faint squeal. Her eyes opened with a snap and roamed around. She sighed when she found herself in her room instead of the dungeon tied up. She gawked at her hands and feet. They were not tied. She was thinking they would treat her like that poor person in the horrible colourless square area. Her heartbeat was louder. Stepping out of the mattress, she trudged toward the window. Her eyes widened with dread. Four guards were on the ground holding their hands. She saw blood on their hands. Her eyes caught the two guards who stopped her to come in the morning. She glimpsed him standing with a gun. She couldn't see his face. She faltered back. She clearly remembered the guard's words and her words to them. She didn't want to be the reason for anyone's death.

' I've to stop him before he kills them. ' She thought.
