Lars was walking and stopped. He saw Ytza talking to the man. He knew who the man was. It was Ytza's uncle. He looked at them and retraced his steps.

Yossier hugged his daughter.... Because she was convalescing she was apart and was not kidnapped.

The three sons of T'zu Hsi . The twins of Ankara . Crystal's son, her daughters with Voltuktuk, and her son with Crystal.... 8 children kidnapped and one safe .

Her daughter said to her.

The young woman stood rigid. She had a genuine and authentic dread of her uncle, she had heard him and almost ran away; she did not understand him much...only that something told her that somehow he had been with a snake and that Lars was involved....

Ytza was filled with confusion. How did her uncle know about Lars? He told her that she had to return to Guido, her father, and that she had to travel with them. He told her about the duty. What duty?
