Jazmine's POV

I scanned the crowded area, watching as they gazed at the different art pieces displayed on the walls, a level of anxiety mixing with the joy I felt. Even though it wasn't my first gallery showing I was still on edge, maybe it was because for the first time in a long time my own work would be on display.

I looked down at my watch checking the time knowing my invited guests would be here soon, my eyes moved to the two paintings that I had paid Nia to do for the showing, both of them seemingly completing the room.

I had spent the first thirty minutes greetings guests, accepting compliments and making business connections between my artists and investors.

"Ms Johnson," A voice called out and I turned around to see a lady who looked to be in her forties and I quickly shook her hand.

"Ms Freda, we spoke on the phone about a purchase," she reminded and I smiled as I released her hand looking over to the female beside her who I assumed was her granddaughter.
