"It's you" She announced softly

"So I did do something?" I asked thinking back, trying to figure out what exactly.

"You're doing everything right" She confessed leaving realization to stand in my mind.

"And that scares you?" I asked but it sounded more like a statement, nonetheless, she still gave me a small nod to confirm my words.

"What's your fear when it comes to us?" I asked softly.

"That you'll hurt me, lie, cheat, change" She replied her voice small and I could tell each word she said held a memory.

"I won't, and I know that's hard for you to believe because of past experiences but I'll prove it, we can move at whatever pace you want to,"

I sat there patiently as the gate opened, Aria sitting in the backseat comfortably with Jazmine by her side both of them engaged in a conversation of their own. It had been seven days since Jazmine got shot and she was finally cleared to leave the hospital hence the three of us being in the car. 


Aria and I had also moved back into Jazmine’s place yesterday which I could tell Aria loved. I began moving up the driveway leaving the gate to close behind me. 


For the past six days, I had been driving Jazmine’s car, mine being bloody since that’s what she was using the day she got shot. 


I still wasn’t used to or comfortable driving her car since I was right-handed and all her cars were left-handed which was very weird since Jazmine’s right hand was her dominant and preferred hand. 


I parked the car to the side getting out moving to open the door to the back seat helping Aria out before handed her Jazmine’s crutches.
