“You seriously didn’t consider that you would be leaving so soon?” She sighed before hugging me “Laura, my sweet, slow Laura.” 


I pulled away and slapped her arm, she looked at me surprised as she rubbed the spot I hit. 


I looked at her mortified as she pouted before staring intensely at the ground. 


“Did you… did you shift?” Ellen asked excitedly as I gulped. 


“No… no, you would be more excited if that happened… Laura… what happened?” Her voice was full of concern and confusion as I felt all words leave me. I wanted to tell her, but I couldn’t stand the thought of her hating me… 


“Laura?” She asked again putting her hands on my shoulders. 


I tried to shrug off her grip but she held on tighter, I could feel her stare as my palms began sweating. She sighed before jerking my face up, her face stern waiting for my response. 


She let go of me relieved and smirking.
