Careen slammed the door shut, locked it tight, and glared at Vincent, “Humph!”
The room became pitch black. Only the subtle rays escaping from the cracks of the window boards illuminated the place in a restful candescence, but that too faded away in time.
The riveting eyes of Vincent flashed in azure, he looked over the nearby cabinet and took out a lone candle from within. Then, snapping his fingers, tiny sparks of violet flew off and nuzzled upon the ends of the candlewick. The candle lit up in violet flames, resembling the birth of a star, for it flooded the venue in a canvas of starry nights.
“Master! It’s beautiful!” Shyreiana clapped her hands in delight.
“I will show you what’s beautiful!” Careen sneered and stomped towards Vincent.
“What happened now?” Vincent asked with a yawn.
“So you don’t care that she is married?” she questioned.
“Relax, I was just teasing her.”
Bam! Careen pushed her feet off the floor and rammed her head underneath his chin.
